    Default Audiophile Chairs

We'll start off with this one: Ballerina Sweetspot Audiophile Chair

    Anyone got other suggestions?

Yes, I'm always on the lookout for a chair to tighten up the bass, sweeten the midrange and gave the treble more clarity. Something that also makes the soundstage more holographic and gives instruments a less artificial tone would be helpful too.

The problem is, it's an interaction thing, so each chair is going to sound different in your room. You're just going to have to buy a few (not more than one or two at a time, presumably) and try them.

The most important part (besides comfort, of course) is the material combination closest to the head/ears. I would completely discount anything hard (like solid wood). Cloth materials and suede would be good, but they may make sounds boomier than they were originally. I would also seriously consider something with no or minimal head support.

Succeed or suck eggs, there is no try.

I got one of these (used), really nice. In theory adjustable "sweet spot locator. "

    Zero gravity, perfect chair

I was going to put in my vote for the Herman Miller Aeron but it's more of an office chair than anything else (and it's the most awesomest office chair of course). Well, until I saw this one:

    I now officially want one!

My dream audio chair would be the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman.

The one I use now is an Ekornes Stressless recliner and ottoman

About the Eames chair, if you're more than six feet tall forget about it.

No, use a pile of dollars as your audiophile chair
I find that crisp new sequential $100's increase the sense of "Air"
