I don't. I have actually been looking for some also. I'll let you know if I find any. What are you going to use for RCA? I was planning on Cardas.

Not high qualiy, but PCB binding posts seem a bit thin on the ground

Are you going to just use standard RCAs or PCB mount types? The reason I ask is in my Counterpoint pre, std. RCAs are used but put into a PCB on the rear panel using appropriate hole sizes and then just soldered in (lots of solder). I would guess you could do the same thing with binding posts. One binding post that I used once and really liked were the Edison-Price Music Posts (Percy audio, maybe Music Direct also?).

I was going to use the right angle Cardas PCB mount RCAs.

Yea, Cardas as well, probably the double stacked GRFA DBL PRT G as space on the back panel will be at a premium. Cardas have sent me a sample so I'll decide for sure when it arrives

Internal power cable for my tiny fanless file (& music) server:

It'll be a while before I want to crimp another damn molex connector.

So I've been pondering my options about amps to drive my new Sony Electrets. They need a shitload of power to run and I'd like a small dedicated amp for them. It suddenly occurred to me that I have a pair of Gainclone boards with PSU boards attached. It's very similar to this one below except mine are connected.

http://www.guerrillaaudio.com/store/...M3875Chip.html

Here's mine,

I have a pair but don't know whether I can get away with one transformer or need two. And what transformer to use? I've tried looking this stuff up but all I find are peoples builds etc, not much in the way of specifics. I don't have much idea what connections go to what. Will it need fuses like in the amp above?

Do any of you have better info on the specifics of these things, what I need to get them working. I have absolutely no clue about electrics/tronics but I'd love to get these going as I'm sure they'd be perfect for the Sonys.

I have just finished a Sigma 11 power supply. 11,97V are now (almost) ready to feed my little SRM-252A. This is my first electronic DIY expericence, even though I have studied electronics for years when I was at the university, but mostly digital IC design.

Everything was done on the floor since it is hard to move stuff around with crutches and a leg in cast.

A few photos:

2 x S11 and a S22 in parts

S11 ready for test. The case is from a retired Meridian 203 DAC.

A close up

Sigma 11 for the SRM-252A, what's the Sigma 22 for?

I have an prebuild MC/RIAA stage and volume control that never had a proper power supply. I'll see if that can retire my old Onkyo preamp.

The second S11 is for a Squeezebox.

Nice, just get ready to money around with resistor values and diodes to get the voltage within the +/- .1V spec that the SB3 allegedly requires. Note: the stock supply doesn't meat their spec, but I made sure all of the sigma11s that I built did and stayed withing spec after continuous operation for a few hours (Vout drops as temp rises).

I was going to deduct points for component alignment, until I noticed this:

Now I guess I get to add points... nice job on crutches. I didn't get any DIY done when I was on crutches, but of course I would have had to go down into the basement... it somehow didn't seem worth the risk

I'm good...

How about a large "This one goes up to 11!!" on the front panel?
