Yeah I like it too. I'm pretty sure that's Cocobolo. That's kind of similar to an amp project luvdunhill has in the works, except the center piece will be wood w/aluminum heatsinks attached to each side.

If anyone here is interested in the Linear Systemsdual and single JFETs, please let me know. Details:

Linear Integrated Systems - Home Page

Since we're getting 1000+ price breaks on some form factors, so it's very nice pricing. A few people have PMed me, so I figured I'd make a general announcement.

Here's the wiki page with some info:

Finished a Millett Starving Student last weekend.. finally got around to taking pictures. By the way, I was introduced to Head-Case at CanJam '08 by Postjack, who I sat next to at the dinner/concert. I've been browsing for awhile, and it seems to me that the community here actually introduces valuable content instead of endlessly posted threads about $40 headphones...

Hey buddy, I remember you from the meet. I wish I had half your DIY skills, and I'm probably close to twice your age.

Yeah, you and your Jeff Buckley-only-playing-cd-player... I actually picked up that album because of your player! Thanks for the complements!

Thanks! There's a really nice one over on the 'Fi, which I like, but I'm really pleased with how mine came out! Looks horrible inside though..

This thing is true vintage... I took it off of an old radio transmitter box that my grandfather built! It's, I'm sure, quite a bit older than myself!
