    A relative in my office offered one of his Snow Leopard licenses to me (he bought the family pack), I assume there will be no issues installing this on my Macbook right?

    I installed it today and have a flash drive with me, I'll see if I have the bug too.

    i was going to say that i haven't seen that, but i bet i haven't written to a FAT formatted flash drive since before 10.6.2.

    Other than the write speed seeming a bit slow it wrote to my FAT32 formatted flash drive just fine. And I double checked and I'm running 10.6.2.
