Default USB Thingie

i'm looking to put together a cheapish headphone system for my office (i'm going to be buying Salty's Gilmore Lite, and i'll get a pair of 650s again), but i need a source. this price is certainly right, anybody hear one of these?

ehhh...I had one for a long time and....you can do better. I was a pig in mud until I upgraded from it, but now I cant imagine going back to grain-city. I imagine Reks would have the same feeling, having come from Audio Aero.

i agree, the 0404-usb is best used as a transport only.

yeah, you can do better. but if we're considering price here too, then it's pretty good for the money

i don't like the headphone out on it, but coupled with a GLite, it should sound pretty good

I think agile_one had one at the national meet and was very happy with it. You should contact him, jacob, as Gene is about as nice as they come and I'm sure would share his thoughts.
