A train doesn't sound bad either! As long as I get to be the caboose that is.

I found the explanation/history of how CD works to be quite interesting.

I couldn't agree more. That review, like most others at that site, really doesn't say anything. Reminds me of sitting through an hour-long PowerPoint presentation by a consultant.

Agreed. Pretty hit and miss site for me as well. Sometimes I've seen some reviews that were alright but this is an example where I just scratched my head and, like you, checked out on that same statement.

+1, must add sometimes they publish great pics with more detail than elsewere... helpful when you want to know if the gear is easy to switch to another mains voltage operation

Otherways, lots of letters and no useful info. As said, like a long presentation...

I didn't actually expect but maybe 1 out of 10 to actually comprehend the reading portion, hence the addition of ", and some pics."(and no, I didn't get it all either)

    How bout some Youtube videos?

PS Audio - High-Performance Home Audio Equipment

Interesting question written by a friend of mine. Might be worth keeping any eye on that thread.

I look forward to the response.

Those Decklink Cards look cool too but appear to only be stereo right now according to the spec page. Not that that really matters.

You can see that the CEO responded very fast with this:
Well, I don’t think this will ever happen as an upgrade. We’ve spoken many times about building such a piece and this may well happen but as of right now we have nothing planned out.

I’d love to have one as well.
So the back door is left open a crack maybe for down the road some day.
