The Bats Have Left The Belltower
Push -- not bad, actually, enjoyed it.

Dirty Laundry Will Out.
In Russia, Fascism embraces you.
:-Peter, aka :-Dusty :-Chalk
Knowing - by the end of the movie it's like WTF! It went in a completely different direction than I thought it would or wanted it to.
The Hurt Locker. Story of a bomb squad in Iraq. Throws you right into the action. Don't think it's one of those pro/anti war movies. Rather, it focuses on the inner conflicts that soldiers face and what they do to cope.
Bruno.
LOL.. Um.. Wow.

Haven't seen Bruno yet, but Sacha Baron Cohen's about as close to Andy Kaufman as any comedian has come. Whether that's a good or bad thing I'll leave up to the individual. I happen to find him hilarious, and I like a comedian that makes you think.
Watching Ran
I've been meaning to watch this for a while and it comes up on the Sundance Channel![]()
The Prestige.
It was very good. I need to watch it again.
Bruno - Not great.. preferred Borat slightly more
Public Enemies - Not bad. Would buy for 10 bucks on bluray.
Icarium panics and attempts to flee!
Blue Man Group - complex rock tour
Hellboy 1 yesterday. Maybe Hellboy 2 (Blu) or Watchmen (720p directors cut) tonight.
I preferred Hellboy 2 to 1, but then again I didn't think either was very good.
Beowulf. I wish it'd been live action.
an autocrat, racist bastard pushing people around and then acts like a child when pushed back
Apogee Duet / HD-650, HF-2 (ordered), SE-310, PX-100, PK-3 / Audioengine A5
Blood the last vampire.
Probably was good that when they were speaking Japanese, there was only Chinese subs. Movie was not as good as I expected. Guess I hoped for better action...maybe. Would say still better than the animated movie (but that's not saying much).
I just watched Australia in Blu-ray.
I liked it. Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman were good, but the young aboriginal boy (Brandon Walters) stole the movie.
