Do people really post-pad on head-case? Other than going from "newbie" to ...uh, whatever a regular user is called these days, there aren't a legion of idiot ranks assigned to users for reaching specific post numbers.

I can leave the old one stickied, but opening a post that big was taking forever. 1200+ pages...

I fucking hate this new thread. When it was reaching 1000 pages grawk said no problem, "it's just a number," and now he pulls the rug out. Is nothing sacred any more?

In protest, I will post here for now so as to pad my post count:

In what situation does that arise? I have never experienced it, but assumed that it must happen at some point, or why else split the threads up.

The only thing taking forever are our last.fm album cover sigs. In particular, grawk's group chart. Now that user charts are working again, there's no need to use the dummy groups, and that's what always hangs up when I open the thread. Individual charts have never been slow to load for me.

And stickying the other thread won't help... I'm not going to search another thread for a post, copy said post here to rebuild my most-listened to album posts. It's not boycotting... I'm just lazy. But then again, since aparantly I only listen to albums w/ attractive singes, me no longer posting in the thread won't be a great loss.

    Carry on.

Ok, if it was my sig to blame, I'll merge things back and I fixed my sig.

We should unsticky this thread so that Jacob stops posting in it -- you're supposed to be posting in Pt. 2.
