This morning. Have a belt case with a rotational clip. For someone reason today it decided for the first time to auto-rotate. Now I'll buy another case to cover up the scratches. Still usable and only a few small scratches on the actual screen, but sides and screen borders look bad. I kept a BSE skin on the back, but left off the front because of scratch resistance and clarity. That was a mistake, but why oh why couldn't it have fallen on the back (or on the carpet six steps away)?

Such much for the resell, but I wonder if someone is telling me to get an iPhone?

Turned out Claire had Remote on hers, but I updated it and started using it last night. I know I am late to the party, but Remote is awesome!

i would use Remote if i used iTunes. which i would do, if it supported FLAC and really large libraries.

I absolutely love remote. I had a pretty easy setup before with front row, but remote shames it. I finally, finally feel good about having a computer at the helm of my audio ship now.

Well Switcheasy came through and my black CapsuleTouch arrived today. The construction on this and the attention to detail with the included accessories is very nice. It is a fully enclosed case (including a screen cover) so it is very different than the Body Glove case i was using. It will take a while to get used to it, but so far, two thumbs up.

If you have a first generation touch, I have a clear (crystal) CapsuleTouch as seen HERE that I can send to the first person that PM's me they want it.

Google adds voice search to iPhone.

SAN FRANCISCO — Pushing ahead in the decades-long effort to get computers to understand human speech, Google researchers have added sophisticated voice recognition technology to the company’s search software for the Apple iPhone.

Users of the free application, which Apple is expected to make available as soon as Friday through its iTunes store, can place the phone to their ear and ask virtually any question, like “Where’s the nearest Starbucks?” or “How tall is Mount Everest?” The sound is converted to a digital file and sent to Google’s servers, which try to determine the words spoken and pass them along to the Google search engine.

The search results, which may be displayed in just seconds on a fast wireless network, will at times include local information, taking advantage of iPhone features that let it determine its location.

That is pretty cool. If it works!
