Got to play some mind games with a 20 yr old I'm-driving-a-GTI-but-really-want-a-BMW douchebag. He was weaving in and out of traffic, squealing his tires, getting absolutely nowhere and just being an overall ass. When I caught up next to him he got pissed off when I told him his GTI sounds like a BMW ..... before it went through puberty.6 points

I guess I've got the best of both worlds. Six years of saving and waiting for the right chance to hit. Started with the Carmels, then the Kipod II signatures, and now these. They are the exact same speaker as the Sonja 1.2 only in the pre Sonja skin (Anat). Paired with my BAT front end and the AudioNet amps, just great music. Have not stopped smiling in a month. Crazy good with the all BAT gear, even better now. I3 points

RIP John. Loved his portrayal of Albert Finny's rival boss in Miller's Crossing. One of my all time favorite mob movies!2 points

Follow-up visit in Boston for Andrew and his heart condition. Best news possible: "no risk" for cardiac death, not recommending any procedures, and not necessary to follow up unless symptoms get much worse (which is doubtful). MAYBE periodic - annual or even less frequent - EKG's but that's more to see if the condition goes away on its own over time. Resumed our vacation in Southern Maine, Andrew celebrated with a DQ Blizzard and an entire small pizza. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD2 points

Ever in the N. Virginia area, look me up. http://en.audionet.de/machines/amp/ Here's some info/specs on the amps if anyone is interested. DC coupled, control and power way above there watts. The finest electronics I've heard to date. The BAT REX tube amps and the Tenor hybrid amps were the best I had heard with the YG speakers. But these are a cut above.1 point

Xavier finishing his first ever Time Trial. He came in last in the junior division, but he was the only kid in Chattanooga to even compete. 7 kids in his age group (9-12) and the other 6 were split evenly between two teams which came from at least 2 hours away, and almost every kid had Zipp 303, 404, or 808s... but one had some deeper-than-808 Reynolds wheels. We went out on a ride with a septuagenarian friend of mine about 2 hours after this pic was taken, and we got in an hour ride. When we were packing up after that ride, he told me "I forgot how much I love riding!" <3 **BRENT**1 point

I bought kd lang - Angel With a Lariat, back in '85. I have been a huge fan since then. No one should feel bad about being upstaged by Miss Lang IMO. Pipes like that just don't come along that often. I also dig her chutzpah...Nashville gives her shit about her sexuality. Does she pout and whine? No, she puts out Ingenue, a jazz album that eclipses even her Owen Bradley produced Shadowland (still a favorite of mine).1 point
