  2. The only snake I don't like is the Orange Deceptor, but they're found only in DC.

  3. I took the Kingsnake up into the hills and set him loose. I would like to keep him in the yard to eat rattlesnakes, but my neighbors are douches and if the snake ever ventured into their yard they would probably call the fire department out to kill them. I take the rattlers I catch up into the same hills and set them loose there as well, no harm no foul.

  4. Oh hai. Yeah, I fixed that mostly last week. Had to do with allowing notifications from the site or you couldn't post at all and many other features were broken. Not to do with DOM storage. Still have issues on the desktop browser on certain things, but it's usable now. Tapatalk still functions fine. As for SSH, I suppose the closest thing I've used was ADB to make a shell. Are you trying to get a command line interface or trying to get a full remote interface I guess I should ask?

  5. Firefox nightly x64 v56. It runs faster and uses less memory than Chrome. Has a process per core that it divides pages into. Really nice, not completely compatible with older extensions yet, but works with all the ones I truly feel I need like ublock origin.

  6. 5th place. Would have been second but I got a cone and got a 2 second penalty. Co-driving isn't for me, it's just too damn hectic. Bah Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  9. That is a beautiful snake. I've always thought that snakes got a bad rep from the Adam and Eve thing. I attribute some of my own unreasonable fear of them to the story that got drummed into my head in bible school.

  11. Was: Big Big Train, The Second Brightest Star -- sort of a companion album to Grimspound -- a much more intimate album, so intimate, I feel like it was recorded specifically for me. Also: lots of instrumental passages. Is: Somali Yacht Club, The Sun -- more excellent stoner To Be: Sasquatch -- yet still even more excellent stoner

  13. On the phone, creating a remote ADB shell requires developer options enabled and then enabling USB debugging. After that, install the Android SDK on the PC you wish to run ADB from and connect the phone via USB and accept the PC for debugging when prompted. I know it's not SSH or over the network, probably would take an app for something like that. I expect an app might also be needed to SSH with the phone into other devices. Might not need root. I don't know if I'm much help, sorry. Sucks about your Raspberry Pi.

  17. Hasn't been able to log in, or hasn't been able to post? Because when I click on his username, it says his last activity was a week ago? Not being pedantic, just trying to get adequate information to help. Poor scoot.

  18. No, it's the fact that it requires DOM storage (whatever that is) to access it. Supposedly Pizza Hut does this as well. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  20. I bought that exact watch for my ex-brother in law, a couple Christmases ago. He loved it, and I thought it was very nice for the money, though the strap isn't amazing. I think that model winds counter-clockwise only, on a watch winder. Regarding the clasp being upside down, you can just swap the straps. The funny thing is that the fine china is going to stand up to the rigors of regular use a lot better than the cheap stuff.

  22. This place is going to make me spend more money than I already do, which is saying something. I don't own many watches....although that is becoming more challenging following this thread. I love the Omega stuff. Had a nice Seamaster swiped when we were relocating during a stint in South America. This is one I bought myself a couple of years ago. It's a Seiko Japanese model I purchased though Massdrop (meh on this vendor). Something about "Cocktail watch". I wear it quite a bit to work. It's a nicely made watch although I have to say the clasp/buckle mechanism is not only funky for being upside down compared to what I'm accustomed to but it's a lot of work as the length of band setting mechanism often comes out of the hole and I have to chase the secondary belt for the band all too often. 48 hour reserve which is not bad nor great as I've used it a while now. Didn't seem to like our watch winder although I should put more effort into that. All in all pretty good value for money and it kept me from buying something more expensive while we pour money into our kids, our old home and my crack habit like pursuit of vehicles.... I used Massdrop's pics as the ones I took with my phone were, shall we say, lacking. The specs: 6R15 automatic movement Seiko Cal.6R15 Manual 23-jewels 21,600 bph Hand winding compatible Hacking seconds Case: Stainless steel Crystal: Domed Hardlex Case width: 40 mm Case height: 13 mm Lug width: 20 mm Power reserve: 50 hours Water resistance: 50 m Made in Japan HS

  25. Round 4 of the AX season tomorrow and we have 9 drivers and 6 Focus ST entrants. My buddy is going to co-drive my car and I would hope I can at least beat him and the other guy I've been racing against thus far. Weather looks glorious so it should be a good day. 26. All the albums starting from DSotM until TFC were largely conceptualized by Roger Waters and his thematic/concept album way of organization along with, as you said, more lyricism of a more direct nature. Those are arguably the most well-known of PF albums, and what he was musically quoting from. The instrumental, more ambient/psychedelic phase was everything before and possibly including Meddle, and there was some level of returning to roots after Roger Waters left as well. So I'd say it depends on your interpretation of the word classic, and which is not one and the same as your favourite period. Just listened to this:

  28. I found both these videos enlightening: I think Barrett-led (early stuff), ensemble (everything between <-- and --> ), Waters-led (The Wall, Final Cut), and Gilmour-led (A Momentary Lapse of Reason and after) were all Pink Floyd, just different. It seems Waters in the above video recognizes that he wasn't Pink Floyd in hindsight.
