I am surprised that this thread has lasted this long, must be the leftover turkey and stuffing atrophy.2 points

No, this is atypically gentle. Typically we would have told you to fuck off by the 2nd or 3rd response.2 points

Thanks Chris! Definitely need to get together! I’m traveling a bit with the fam over the holidays. Let’s get in touch in the new year and have lunch! Thanks Jim! I did send them an email making that request, and also added it to my review, which they do seem to monitor. Fingers crossed! And good luck Antonio! I’m sure you know this, but for me at least, the acute symptoms took several months to stabilize. (Unfortunately for me, it stabilized to a not normal new baseline.) So I’m hopeful for continued improvement for you still!1 point

For that genre of music (and the term is used extremely loosely here) It wouldn't really matter if you got two empty tin cans and affixed some iBuds in the bases...... You also need to get a coat hanger and use it as a headband...... I have been giving this a lot of deep thought since my last post and have come to the sad conclusion that your mate needs somewhat more than a miracle........1 point

You get a decent discount for being a JH Audio pro or something if you have previous headphones and then they do the holiday sales periodically. I think I got at least 30% off the Roxanne’s.1 point

Do we have a running total of the various JHA offerings so far lost or destroyed by Head Case? Got to be close to double figures by now.1 point

I greatly prefer the modern Roxannes to my older JH13s and with the crazy sales they often have you can get them for about the same price as the JH-13s. Not sure if the modern ones are dramatically better than my two older pairs of 13s but I am happy with the Roxanne’s, but I am not ruling out the Layla’s at some point when I get bored.1 point

Really like these a lot! I got the earbuds as a test. I think I’ll get their Best big ones! I posted this review on Amazon: Fantastic! I have my hearing back, if only for the time I have my Earprints in. Instruments and vocals sound like themselves again. Soundstage is stable again! This was the most surprising aspect of the change. I guess because my hearing loss was only in the high frequencies in my left ear, it screwed up the stability of the soundstage as tones changed. Very frustrating, and I couldn’t really verbalize that until now. I spent hours fiddling with balance, volume, frequency etc. only to walk away angry and frustrated. These Earprints fixed it in 90 seconds! So grateful to have my music back! Now if only they exported their audio correction circuit for my speaker rig! I’d LOVE to have my personal EarPrint for my speakers! How are my dizzy and hearing challenged brothers? Would love to hear from you!1 point

Christmas lunch. Butchered a duck. Legs off (cooked confit style for 3 1/2 hours at 85C under goose fat). Wings off. Breasts off. Used remaining carcass, wings, neck chopped up to make a stock. Cooked breasts classic style - skin side down in cold pan, then heat to crisp the skin and render the fat. Into the oven for 7 minutes skin side up to finish, and rest for 5 minutes. With roast vegetables and Amarone. (In the Silence of the Lambs book, he eats his liver with some fava beans and an nice Amarone. When they moved to the film they reckoned not many people had heard of Amarone, so they changed it to Chianti.)1 point

Robyn Hitchcock — S/T This was right up there in my top albums of the year. A sprawling, pitch black humored, power pop treat.1 point

Let's be clear, Todd. Doug doesn't make "lowly" amps. Some are more costly to make than others but none are lowly.1 point
