  1. We were at a jewelry store getting a piece repaired for Colie, when I saw that they had the silver limited edition Bulova Lunar Pilot, which is no longer made and long out of stock in their inventory system (I've asked). No idea where it came from. I wanted it, of course, but didn't want to buy something for myself without getting something for her. Unfortunately, I have a credit line with this store, so we looked slightly to the right of the Lunar Pilot. Colie really liked the Bulova Chronograph C, so... I really rather like it. Funny enough, due to the date window and the modern, as opposed to the vintage, typeface that is on the older, silver LE, the black PVD watch actually looks more vintage, especially with the strap I have it on.

  2. After years of seeing Siegfried Linkwitz and his awesome creations at burning amp I'm seriously considering setting up a LXmini + 2 setup for my small apartment. http://linkwitzlab.com/LXmini/LXmini+2.htm The prices on both the kits and the pre-built models seem pretty reasonable. SL seems very bright, plus he is a local here in Marin County. I'm thinking of asking him if I can come by his house and have a listen. Does anyone here have any experience with Linkwitz's stuff? Any advice would be much appreciated!

  3. Just throwing out there that I plan on being there on Saturday April 14 and would love to hang with anyone. Looking forward to spending way too much money in the new “record shop” as my two primary online vinyl places - acoustic sounds and elusive disc - will be there. I’ll plan on stopping by those manufacturers of gear I own just to say hi and chew the fat a little bit (emotiva, wyred4sound), and even though I don’t have a uturn table anymore, I’d love to just say hi to uturn audio. And justin! Go headamp. Let me know if you plan on coming, maybe I can help organize a dinner for us and the out of towners.

  8. Thanks for the offer, but the board I'm using needs to have very exact dimensions so it doesn't look like I'd be able to use your board anyway. Mine is also regulated with a tl1963 on the backside. Might look into switchers as well.
