Thanks!!! No, I haven´t it. Normally we make the return by bike as well and the speeds we reach usually reach up to 80Km/h in some places (at the exit of the town of Teror for example). Yesterday when the road was cut by the race we got off in the team's bus. La volata3 points

A cycling thread eh? After riding an old early nineties daccordi steel bike for a couple of years, i finally bought a moden caad 12 ultegra in early june this year. I honestly didn't expect the difference to be as big as it was, and the modern alu bike just feels so much better. It's so quick to accelerate, so fast, and the handling is insane! So far i've ridden it 1648 km, and i'm getting kind of worried that i spend all my free time riding the damn thing (or thinking about it) i've even bought a used wahoo kickr so that i can keep riding it through the winter... i think it might be time for an intervention.3 points

Thanks Brent. My other bike is a 2014 Trek Fuel Ex 3. It was my 2014 Xmas gift to my health.2 points

I'm riding my ebike all the time these days. To make the Trek more enticing, I'm planning on fixing its two biggest flaws, which are the lack of a dropper seatpost and 3 chainrings. To that end, I've ordered a Brand-X dropper from Reaction Cycles and and Sram NX Eagle drive kit. The dropper arrives next week and Sram is releasing the NX Eagle in September. Can't wait to play with them.2 points

I got my first road bike, a Trek, three months ago. Occasionally I reach 45 km/h in moderate downhill slope straight forward - if it goes faster I use the brakes. 80 km/h really impresses (scares) me. I would prefer the team’s bus, if no seat available I take a taxi…1 point

I don't know what Nomex undershorts are, but they sound like they'd keep Brent away, so approved!1 point

What’s surprising is the length of time that a direct link to HC has been up. Now of course the clock is ticking and will be gone in a few... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro1 point

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/ifi-audio-pro-iesl-the-official-thread.852364/page-7#post-14413330 Ahhh nice of ifi to question my knowledge of electronics. I always feel nice when somebody does that while not addressing any of my major concerns. I guess I have to buy one of these and rip it apart. In other news, I don't like the direction Stax is taking with the made-in-china amps. They have stopped using Japanese caps and instead are using these gems in the D-50: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58678 Might just be my new favorite forum... So we will go from Stax amps needing nothing for 20-30 years to perhaps a 5 year life before the caps give out? That's not really a move forward in my book...1 point

you need to explain that in European notation 1.432m is one thousand and four hundred thirty two meters, not one point four hundred1 point

So, I brought all my vinyl home from TN. Now I need a TT. Probably a "starter" table for now. Anyone have experience with this Denon, or the upgrade package? https://www.turntablelab.com/products/denon-dp-300f-fully-automatic-turntable?s=recomatic https://www.turntablelab.com/products/denon-dp-300f-turntable-ortofon-2m-red-upgrade I really want to just buy Jeff's Scoutmaster and be done with it, but this should tide me over until I get drunk enough for a Prime Scout, right? I thought about re-tipping, the cantilever is fine, but eventually I decided to work with the dealer here in the US, who I bought if from brand new, and he gave me a very generous discount to trade in, which I could not pass up (but I'm sure I'll regret it later when the credit card bill comes in). So I ordered the ZYX Ultimate 4D, on the way...... still cost me north of $X,XXX1 point

Thanks for the condolences everyone. Xavier and I are back on the trails, though. Went out for a father's day ride. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk1 point

It got stolen this weekend, but my 26 miles on it since new were mostly great. The bike handled really well, rode like a dream. I had to grease some parts as I was getting some creaking, but I'm definitely a Clydesdale, and would chalk it up to that after some messing around with it. Would buy again, but I'm sick of talking about it now. My kid's bike was also stolen, and having to watch him cry for hours (it was after one of our few rides together since being in Seattle, and we had a fantastic night, only to be ruined by theft.0 points
