  1. Do you remember this? I found a DVD with a few chapters. I remember when I was a child. Although I could not understand it, I liked watching this serie. Today seeing it again and understanding it better, I think it's a wonder

  2. Does he stop the grandfather clock collection when he's listening to music? And even if stopped what about the chime resonating? I went so far as to use a swept sine in my room to identify what was in there ringing along to the music. And moved offending items to another room. From Nelson Pass's description of a monster transmission line subwoofer "Funny things happen when your speakers are flat to 13 Hz. You have to be careful about your tone arm, your windows, your neighbors, and your bowels." Article here http://www.firstwatt.com/pdf/art_elpipeo.pdf

Now, I just need to figure out if I want to fork out an extra 500 to get the shiny black vs the matte/satin black. Shiny...

  5. Christmas came early in NH. A few weeks ago my wonderful wife authorized the procurement of a new bike and I've gotten out some late-season rides. Today's was particularly cold. New ride is a Scott Genius 940, picked up for ~20% off as a floor model. It's truly amazing how far things have come in the 6+ years since I bought a mountain bike.
