  1. Mad dash at the end. Here's my unuseful take (as an inner spring preference side sleeper)... Best: Hästens Most Loved: McRoskey Most Confusing: Duxiana Great, But Always Too Close to a Hästens: Vispring And of course the above have almost nothing in common with each other. In the end we went bang-for-buck and joined the Aireloom club. Ronald Reagan and I finally have something in common. Aireloom Midnight Preferred Ingraham

  4. The new Canon lenses are great. All of them. This was taken with the RF 28-70mm f/2 lens. The EOS R is a bit quirky but also very powerful, overall I like it and I can also recommend it (or the RP which gets a lot of unwarranted hate) with the RF 24-105mm f/4 IS lens, which was also great.

  5. In case anyone still cares about coffee storage, I buy a 5 pound bag from redbird, then separate into bags of about 1/2 pound each. Then I vacuum pack and freeze the bags. Pull them out as needed, let come to room temp, open and enjoy. I either pull one shot or make a cup of drip on most mornings, so it takes me a while to go through 5 lbs. Not as good as freshly roasted, but still pretty good. Once in a while a bag will lose its seal so I pull that one out first, but most stay sealed until I'm ready to use them. Randy

  6. I left my first ever nice watch -- a Rolex Datejust -- in an open locker at the Washington DC YMCA overnight before I realized I'd lost it. I fucking sprinted back down there from my apartment the next morning and it was a GOOD feeling opening that little door and finding it still inside!

  7. two bags i saw come back in stock that may be of interest... Dark Matter Blood Lord (BA in FEW bourbon and rye barrels) Old Bisbee Bali Blue Krishna decided to pass on bali this time. i'm finishing up a bag of Reanimator Yukro Ethiopia that has been really terrific. i think i'm trending toward medium roasts with less bite and more fruit, earthy notes. good chance my next order will be with reanimator again...

  8. The only way that would ever have been in doubt is if there was a mattress company called Matte Black?

  9. That is awesome, Al! When I used to be a regular on Facebook, some pals had lists of favorite concerts. For me in those early to mid-80's days, I was thick in the "New Wave/Alternative" thing. Some of my favorite shows included The Cramps (great fun party-type band, I must have seen them 5 or 6 times), and The Stranglers (long story, but got to meet the band, take one of them to a local radio station for interview, and spent some time backstage after the show). But SO many great bands in the day, including some no-name band that opened for Jesus & Mary Chain and BLEW them away....I and perhaps 8-10 others ran to Tower Records after that show to pick up that no-name opener's CD: Pretty Hate Machine by Nine Inch Nails. I had saved a few ticket stubs from then, think i did clean up and threw some out but wonder if I still have any left over.....
