I need a coffee ☕

fuck yeah it's coffee time got the lido today, everything i read online is pretty much on point. adjusted the dials twice and brewed a medium-dark Kenya AA, very well rounded cup when it got a few ticks above room temp. most interesting is my yield was noticeably better with this lido compared to the hario. my bypass/water addition was like a third of what i'd been adding before. i think this made the cup a bit heftier overall. afterwards i did adjust the grind to a little less fine for my brew tomorrow morning, a little more coarse should dial this in. fun stuff, also got some Ethiopian in from Heart Coffee in Portland so i need to rush through the remainder of this Kenyan which should be easy since i'm drinking twice my normal amount since i got the aeropress.

supposedly taubman's punishment effectively equals a permanent ban but the same should have been applied to other folks or they should have taken many more picks away. NBA took away like 5+ years of picks from minnesota for something way less damaging. feels closer to a slap on the wrist. not surprised.

Most of us are all going to be sample size of one, so you might be better off checking for reliability rankings from something like Consumer Reports. I've absolutely loved my 2017 model c7 with my only regret being getting the smaller 55" size. Can't speak for the other HC'ers though and whether their dissatisfaction was due to quality control issues, a case of upgrade-itis, or something else.

Well, the rabbit hole opened. Still a helluva bargain for a mechanical watch. Bit of a beast though at 43mm diameter and 15mm thick.

The regulated output voltage is: for V+: ((R8 + R7) / R7) x 10 (reference voltage of D5 - LT1021-10) for V-: ((R9 + R10) / R10) x 10 (reference voltage of D7 - LT1021-10) On the goldenreference4 board silkscreen, R7, R8, R9 R10 are all 1.5K. R7 and R8 are connected and R9 and R10 are connected. R8 and R9 are the 1.5K resistors closer to the DN2540 on each side of the board. The 10R is for ground connection ( from iec input ground to power suppy ground) and is optional. I personally never populated it on all the GRLV I've built.

I need to get off my arse and get a grinder...it's been simply a matter of space in our smallish kitchen and the fact that our parents have gifted us way too much crap kitchen divecery...LOL. My boys are in college now and I figure a few more years and I'll call it a day at least at my current career (location is spectacular for commute and for restaurants and such). We'll likely move then and I'll get me a SPECTACULAR kitchen. OK...OK. Screw it. Grinder recommendations? Try to be a BIT sensitive to the size of the thing if possible. Medium is OK.
