SNL did a tribute to Hal Willner. I cried through most of it, knowing some of the history. RIP, Hal.5 points

I've gone the SOTM 200 Ultra route, essentially a linux audiophool small computer built to only do audio. I run a Roon server connected to a network switch. I did this primarily to get the convince of Roon with better SQ. The Roon server sounds good but is not nearly as good sounding as the SOTM. For me Roon was the way to go to leverage my Tidal and Qobuz subscriptions. I'd cancel Roon but I'm on a package deal with Mike and Raffy. It just opens up so much more music to me and the Roon engine is pretty sweet.3 points

Postponed morning bike ride due to snow. 😃 First time I can remember that we have had so many days that we can see snow on the mountains from the back yard. Summer may prove very interesting as we have an abundance of brush growth on the hills which if we have a dry hot summer will turn into fire fuel for October.1 point

I remember when Richard Hammond crashed his rocket car and suffered brain injury, Stirling Moss mentored him. Moss had had a horrific crash during his racing career and knew first hand what Hammond was going through. Moss kept his buckled steering wheel on the wall. He buckled that steering wheel with his head. RIP Stirling Moss - one of the racing greats.0 points
