I think I will stick to my somewhat less expensive Netgear switches. I’ll just have to learn to live without the air guitars and air batons.2 points

AMD and Nvidia have released updated drivers for Cyberpunk 2077, so be sure to update before playing the game today.2 points

I have a pair of the Abyss AB-1266 Phi TC now as well and they are the best headphones I've heard. I'm using them with a Headamp GS-X Mini and it drives them very well. I think people go way overboard thinking these need crazy amounts of power as 88db/mW isn't that inefficient.2 points

RIP Harold. @skullguise Todd, I think your finger slipped because I don't think you meant to laugh at Dusty's post.1 point

Pfft! Cooking and portrait painting are art and as such the impreciseness is what makes them special. Otherwise Michelango should have employed paint by numbers or a stencil.1 point

To Tyll's credit, he predicted that we'd see the tech come much more strongly into the headphone space in the future when he was on his way out from InnerFidelity. Apple doesn't seem to be doing personal HRTF in the sense that Tyll predicted, but they do seem to be doing some kind of equalization based on sound interactions from inside the ear cups to fix sonic deficiencies and enhance noise cancellation. Makes sense. If you can't get there with electrical and acoustic engineering then use EQ to make up a lot of the difference. I think I might take the plunge.1 point

They automatically clamp down on various thicknesses without adjustment or tightening. You can set the tension +/- for thicker or thinner material before clamping but the range is wide. They work in t-tracks but also come with mounts that fit in bench dog holes. They also make them as hand clamps, which are great for one handed clamping.1 point

It makes the bits sound sweeter: https://www.hifiplus.com/articles/english-electric-8switch-streaming-audio-network-switch/ I think I'd save my money for a 10 Gigabit switch instead.0 points
