it’s not clear if our good friend @grawk has actually started his roasting service but when i received this today it sure felt on-par with any current roaster i use (and i have used quite a few in 2020)... starting with the Brazil. this is a clean, clean cup on the v60, lesser acidity (above room temp) in favor of nutty and spicy and tea-like attributes. i find this stupidly drinkable.5 points

This is lighting up a lot of "Best Of" lists lately, and for good reason. Approachable, delicately produced, and some blazing lyrics out of a clean little voice. Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher4 points

A guy on /r/audiophile said his father passed recently. This was his rig: Not too shabby a view, either.1 point

https://flic.kr/p/2kmuC9i https://flic.kr/p/2kmqddS I have used the holiday period to build this amp but I am unfortunately having a mains hum similar to some other builds. Not having used SMPS before, am I missing a trick? Is there some sort of filter that I need to insert to make it hum free?1 point

The Opus wasn't reading about 1/3 of the CDs that I had tried in it, so I replaced the laser in it tonight. Works great!1 point

I live in California, where when we think we may have gone too far, we go a little further. I did my 40 years of winters. Done with snow.1 point

The curl only kind of shows up in this pic, but it is the best one I have. This is not, actually, ambrosia - it is from a tree that was tapped for syrup. It leaves the same streaking, but with larger holes (which I cut off). This was wood from the $2/bf scrap heap - same wood I made the kitchen counters from.1 point
