Short note to let you know that due to lack of resources, one of the largest Yes fan sites offering loads of bootleg recordings from Yes concerts, will go offline in July. They are hosting about 3TB of Yes music. Were you interested https://yessongs.nl/5 points

Thanks everyone. The sun came out for a bit and it got up to -17 windchill for a few minutes. It was glorious.5 points

Wish I could model that well, maybe in a couple years. Post it on one of my Army FB groups and three hours later I have 30 on order. Looks like I found my self a job 😂🤦♂️3 points

You're just not giving yourself enough credit. Trust me, for someone just learning, you're doing awesome work. It's not a hobby learned in a month.3 points

It's an argument in favor of 1.75hp instead of 3hp. Or a year, for that matter.2 points

I bet it will be better than you think. Just make sure you spend 95.95% of your timing setting it up 😉.1 point

220V is also good for welding, surprisingly few have a 120V option. Which I why I ended up with an AHP. And Naaman, that is damn sexy. Did you do the modeling off of your badge yourself? I picked up an SMD practice kit since I have a few things I want to do that would require it. Tried hand-soldering for the fun of it. The results work, but are not worth the picture.1 point

"Great creativity comes from great hardship" As a form of escapism from the reality of the times ( no job, no future) - form a band with your mates. And you could do it "on the dole" https://m.huffingtonpost.co.uk/horace-trubridge/class-and-the-arts_b_8647352.html Plus, it's grim up north. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/It's_Grim_Up_North Although, sometimes, it's not all bad1 point

Won't actually be spinning it until Monday, but picked this up on Amazon. This album and Nick Hayward really influanced my direction for years to come. I still love those British groups with those smooth, crooner voices. Spandau Ballet, ABC, Style Council, etc... Something about those industrial cities that birthed such amazing talent.1 point

Been listening to the L3 & Ravensweood tonight/early morning and they are such a stunning performer! Any news on the T5? Still kicking myself a bit for letting one of the DHSA-2 prototype go 3 years ago.1 point

That reminds me that I received the second shot of the Pfizer thing past Thursday. Still alive. Penis becoming an annoyance 🤷♂️1 point

There should be adapters available to accommodate different diameters. Even on my 2018 Scott Genius it runs post mount adapters to mate up with 180mm discs which were the default standard by that point. Same with the 2015 frame that I'm working on building up now and one of the reasons I haven't been able to get it wrapped up this week. The adapters and new brake lines should be at my house when I get home so with a little luck I'll drop the bike off at my shop mid next week for a thorough check over to make sure I don't die the first time I ride it.1 point
