In progress Amp design by me, power supply designs and circuit board layout by kerry, support by birgir +/-300 volt power supplies. complementary push pull all bipolar design with cmos style multiplying current mirror.

I couldn't stop listening to this yesterday I was using my SR-007's. It drives them very nicely. Very rich deep bass and good imaging / sound stage, which is usually where the 007's suffer without the proper amp. This was running this off of a bench supply at 11.1V and it was drawing .4A very consistently. The top board is the +/-300V supplies (with input EMI filtering) and the one below that is the bias supply set to 580V. Each amp section is 1" x 2" and each of the +/- PS sections are 1" x 1". Bias is a little wider.

I know, originality score of zero but winter appears to be departing rather quickly so I got out this morning while it was snowing a bit. It sadly turned to rain before I was done and has been doing that steadily for the last two hours. Still, much fun was had.

Hi! i would like to share my work with you. I made an dynalo amp powered by grlv power supply and a pcm1794a/cm6631a dac. Everything is totaly made by me. I also designed the pcb nd ordered it from JLCPCB. Amp offset voltage stays at max +-1mV and it is totally silent. The balanced amp gives twice the voltage swing and slew rate and 4 times the output power. Wether that matters for a headphone like HD650 is debatable. My personal opinion is yes. The motto here at HC is "moar is better" and never pass a chance to go overkill

If nothing else it'll be interesting to see what Sennheiser has coming out the next few years. Jude certainly hints at there being something coming out that he seems pretty excited about. An actual successor to the HD800/S would be a good place to start. If they were smart they'd also cut down on the line up, they have way too many products.

I always like to eat first, and build up energy.

I've tried every shortcut to making bb drawers, from pocket holes to dominos to biscuits. In the end, I found that an actual joint was both faster and more accurate than any of them. And more satisfying. And probably stronger.
