Dropped Peter off for his two-week Outward Bound trip, returned our shitty rental car and now sitting in the Delta lounge awaiting our flight to Atlanta which leaves in a little under 12 hours. I like this lounge because they let you mix your own cocktails. If Delta goes out of business next week, you will know why.

Hello all, Carbon finally done, tested and buttoned-up - sounds great and very quiet. This was indeed a fun & satisfying project. I would like to specially thank the following members for all their generous assistance with this challenging build (my first high voltage electrostatic amplifier) Kerry, sweetleaf, mwl168, jamesmking and JoaMat never worked with SMD's before and needed A LOT of help to debug & trouble shoot issues with the GRHV/LV power supplies, and could not have gone that far without tapping from your guys invaluable experience and know-how. driving back from Nantahala today on the dragon, I saw a cobra doing laps. I didn't realize they cornered that well, so it's possible it's a modern reproduction with good suspension, but it was amazing.

Yeah, the size of games these days is why I bought a big SSD, and a Tice-sized HDD. I shuffle games between them depending on what I'm actively playing, and don't have to worry about deleting then redownloading games later.

Hey John, I have the HE-6 but not yet 🙂 the CFA (it is on my build list however). I am ising the HE-6 with RSA The Dark Star atm and it is just magnificent. Compared it to the HD-800 as well but clearly prefer the HE-6 and traded the HD-800.

Found a very nice 4700uF 50V cap for the GRLV, dia 25mm (instead of 20mm) and 30mm high (instead of 40). Shorter and fits very nicely.

I'd use something with 2 sets of outputs. You can thank me later (cough cough gilmore_protect board cough cough).

You can use the goldenreference6D.zip and skip yourself the further hassle. It has been checked and built numerous times and is more than good enough.
