I've read and heard these words till they've become stale. But this performance moved me as if I've never heard it before and gave it meaning. Art at it's finest. I struggle to think of anything better acted.4 points

Grawk made it really tough. I've been a member for 15 years, and haven't earned one badge yet. I feel defeated. BTW, I have a gold rated member. Granted it's not at all super secret, but it ought to count for something.2 points

Just wrapped up season 1 of the Leftovers. TMoney called it well...a bit tough to get through the front end...definitely not a linear story line. A few characters beg for a good smack into reality, but overall engaging. We'll see how the next season goes...I'm in it now. HS1 point

The Leftovers I'm so glad I gave this show a second chance. It is magnificent. The first four to five episodes are a slog. Don't be discouraged. It takes the show a while to find its footing. The premise is weird and the characters start out unlikable. Stick with it though! Two things I think are done exceptionally well here are showing you plot events that won't be explained until many episodes down the line and the use of music to really drive the big emotional moments. The show is by no means unique in doing these things, I just think they do them fantastically well. The show also doesn't overstay its welcome. Ending it after the third season was perfect.1 point

Provided the insulation between the 6.3V that floats at -500V and the line at +500V, fine. If there is a chance that the wire insulation cannot handle 1000V difference, you are going to need some sort of additional barrier. Hence the fiberglass sleeving over the twisted and floating 6.3V.1 point

Any reason why they would have a stockpile of 207's, are there very good for monitoring. That's pretty weird because the 207 is very different tonal wise to the 0071 point

Yeah, I think the Sonoma is more a "lifestyle" item than an audiophile thing. You know, young exec who owns a BMW, a full set of Danish modern furniture, and wants a stylish headphone set to display - sort of like a B&O system.1 point

This is how the small board with trimmer and resistor looks like. I do think the T2 amp board by Kevin is a very good one. Easy to build, just put the right component in right position, solder properly and then you are done. If something goes wrong it’s possible to work on the board. And it's also a terrific board for experiments, tests, modifications…...1 point
