Check this light out. Park Avenue High-Power LED Outdoor Light Bar : Wall Washers I just ordered one for the work area in my garage. Its available in warm white, which could be anything from 2700k to 3000k.
If you can throw two 6 inch can assemblies up, the Cree CR-6 or LR-6 would be great and half the price. The quality of light from the Crees is astounding. I have six in my kitchen and its just unbelievable how comfortable the light is.

If you put them a little higher than i did, and space them every 3 feet, then you still need 10 of them. But it will really light the bench up.
Thanx Guys!
Interesting stuff here.
As I'm sure most of you guys know, once you hit 40+,if you weren't some kinda light freak before, you'll become one soon.
I remember my Dad going nutz complaining about this when I was a lot younger. I thought man, he's goin' crazy here. I would say once I hit 45 lighting became a real issue and I now look in the mirror and hear my Dad complaining about the Light!

There is nothing really suitable on the LED front for under cabinet mounting like the 2 foot fluorescent lights. The few LEDs in that size work at a very white color temp and are pretty expensive. There are some nice LED desk and work lamps out there.

I've got a long work bench in my Garage. It's 16' x 32". Ceiling is 9 1/2'. Would these Can lights KG mentioned above be good for workbench illumination?
If so, how many?

I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

Due to busting up my foot a while ago, i have had to slow down a bit.
I want to get the next 5 x T2 chassis out the door first which
should be about 2 more weeks. That will leave only 3 left.
I have shipped the board files to someone that is going to make me
a small run of prototype boards for a rational price.
Someone else has the board files for the KGITSOJC so that is moving
along too.
I'm installing hid lighting over my workbench at home today to make it
easier to build stuff.
What'd you do, drop a T2 Heatsink on your foot!
J/k
Can you describe the lighting? I'm looking at lights presently for a few work areas as well.

Ohhh I am not. The local Senn rep asked me about the RA-1 for customer and with Stuart popping by the bakery for lunch 10 minutes later I asked if I could borrow his. The plan is to bring it by to let them try the HD800 on it vs. the SPL Auditor which costs about the same here...
Throw an ALO Amphora in there and you'll have the Trifecta! How much would it cost $5,000?

I don't know why soft ear plugs would help tmj.
I'd like to get a set, but it's not on my top ten things on which I want to spend my spare cash.
So speaking of what I want to spend my monies on, I'm curious about what to use a a source for my 3A/16 set up. I didn't really pay too much attention to how it was hooked up at CanJam, and am just now thinking about it. I'm thinking best sound, but portable. Suggestions?
If you get a set of these I would like to hear your impressions... of the impressions...
I would be interested in how they perform as shooting plugz, as I suspect you might.

Dead like me still makes me sick to my stomach when I think about how I felt on finding out it was canceled. The movie might throw me over the edge.
I've found I should never get attached to Mandy Patinkin in anything. He gets in a series, makes it successful and discovers he doesn't like to work everyday...
I think he's a talented nutball.
I never saw that series, but if I had known he was in it, that would be more reason to avoid it IMO.
Mandy is an enigma.

I use it all the time. It is like crack. I have a bottle with a needle that is very precise. I bought it from the Tangent website and it's the best I've used.

I've got one of those, works great!

I think I get 3-4 years out of a pair of Rockports. That is fine with me since I usually walk 2-4 miles every day indoors so I don't expect them to last forever.
I still have a few pairs of Rockports. They wear well, I like the Prowalkers I have. I have so many shoes, they last forever because I wear a different pair all the time.

I always found Rockports had the most comfortable soles for me
Since we're on a shoe tear...
I quit wearing Rockports a long while back because I felt their Quality went down. I started wearing Ecco. You should have a look there if you get a chance and Euro sizing and cut will work for you. They are what Rockport was 25 years ago, well, really better. You can find great sales on them, they are expensive off sale. They make really comfortable dress shoes that Rockport can only dream about. Their casual shoes are killer also.
If there's a problem, they support their product superbly.

I saw that guy.
He had speakers in the back of his Van, CHEAP!
I didn't know he squirted gooey stuff in your ear as well.
But I had my suspicions...

I tried a pair of Park Avenue's on today, but didn't really get a good fit. Left was too tight, right was close but heel a bit too loose. They definitely seemed well made though. Man, I have trouble buying non-sneakers that don't give me bad blisters.
Here ya go:
