i want to get the tube thingie but maybe i should wait and watch for a spec evolution on the thunderbolts.
i like that they improved it, but the first version hasn't really been here long. Maybe I should hold out for thunderbolt 5.

You can use it to smash the others with so you can get new ones.

Bridezillas. Oddly satisfying.

I'm finding myself kind of wanting an 11" MBA. No need for it whatsoever.

Have we talked about how absolutely fucking awful 'Mavericks' is as a name?

Thanks, Ari, as always, very very helpful.

I can't help but hope that he succeeds. I have no idea why.

SO I HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM AND THAT'S WHY I KEEP SELLING HIM SHIT, SO WHAT? THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE ISN'T ALSO A GREAT PERSON TO DO BUSINESS WITH BECAUSE HE IS DAMMIT, HE IS.
Seriously--no worries.

Ari, what do you find so hard about the 14?
EDIT: and many thanks for the offer.

Neat. What about something a little wider?

I think it counts quite well, and indeed is awesome; wasn't it written and performed originally by Ewan MacColl (Kirsty's father)?
I believe that's so.
Keeping on with the celtic theme, I also liked the Lick the Tins version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" much more than Elvis's version.

Is any of this shit available today other than the MBAs?

Not so sure this counts as a cover so much as a traditional, but who cares, "Dirty Old Town" by the Pogues really kicks the living shit out of every version that preceded it.

My takeaway from iOS 7: you gonna need a faster phone, son.

100% agree re Devo's "Satisfaction." It was featured in either "Casino" or "Goodfellas" both of which I have seen recently and I love that version. Totally turns the song inside out, which also was very much in keeping with Devo.

Another one that's a closer call for me is Duran Duran's surprisingly adept cover of "Perfect Day" by Lou Reed.
-
I have to say that the Cowboy Junkies cover of "Sweet Jane" is, to me, the better version. And I love them both. Margo Timmins wins it in the end.
