From what I remember, they were good but Monterey Park has "friggin good".................... dim sum.

I ride by there every Saturday on my road bike but never noticed it. I will stop by this week. I guess I will have to wait until I can drive to the West Side for ramen or my monthly Monterey Park dim sum pilgrimage.

Close encounter with a coyote this morning at the start of my morning ride. I thought coyotes were asleep by seven am, guess I was wrong. He was a pretty big mother and the most disconcerting thing was that he wasn't scared of me at all. He just walked in front of me while I rode and just kept looking at me, kept constant eye contact. finished the ride with a modest 1K of climb, visited starbucks for that caffeine pop then finished off my office speaker mod project.

Zippy, anything good out our way? I usually have to drive east for an hour just to get any good Asian food fix. We have nothing decent out in VC that I am aware of other than Neiman Marcus priced sushi joints. Any recos?

When they are both up and running I will let you know. Right now they sound about the same as one of your granite slabs...................... (nothing). To be fair, I have been a little preocupied with work for the last two months so I have not spent the time to fully troubleshoot the problem.

Make sure you post on both sites how quickly they service the 808 and what they end up charging you, it would be valuable information for all those current and potential Meridian customers to know. I have had reasonably good luck with service regarding their dsp 5500 speakers but I am not done yet. Good luck Billy I hope it all works out.
