  1. Yes, but don't forget about his new line, the "Elite". It's the same as the SUCKITALO but costs 5 times as much. It's for the people that irritate him!
  2. Are these models from your new Elite line?
  3. Especially when he succumbs to the siren song of the BHSE.
  4. I just love it when brand new cutting edge technology takes over for ancient, obsolete technology.
  5. I have to ship a Linksys "Music Bridge" to a friend in Denmark (from the US). Can somebody please suggest a reasonable shipping method? I'd like to get it there fairly quickly but at a reasonable price. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
  6. Hey JP, how do we verify that we have 5 or more people staying at the hotel? How does the hotel learn about it and adjust rates? Should I just make a regular reservation now and tell them I'm there for the meet when I check in? BTW, Stacy can't make it. She is being installed that Saturday as VP of the local chapter of The League of Women Voters.
  7. "Purists" are people that believe the same things that you do, whether it be audio or anything else.

Yes, but which one is Mary Magdalene?
  9. Oh no, Al has been infected by the Sovkiller virus. That must be why he put down my headphones!
  10. Oh, I'm really hurt. And I thought you liked me Al. :'(
  11. I got a pair as something to contrast with my K340. That they do. I find them to be interesting as a change of pace with real rocking music. I must admit that they get less time than my K340, HP2 and Yuin PK2, but I don't hate them as many people here do. I don't understand the wild fans that they have on HF, except for the looks of course.
  12. My white helmet goes with all my jackets and suits!
  13. My condolences too. There will always be NorCal meets. See you at the next one I hope.
  14. "Only" $430? That's why I like white helmets. My RF1000 cost $260. Of course, it can get crazy. A woman that rides with our group is friends with Chris Woods, of AirTrix fame. She asked him to paint her helmet and to go "a little wild". He did. She was surprised by the cost as the bill for the paint job was $3K. Spending money for special paint on such a disposable product doesn't work for me. Like I said, I like white helmets.
  15. I bought mine as a replacement for one that had given its all. I keep it around as an example of why full face helmets are a good idea. I bought the same model and size and it fit well, just like the one it replaced. I also had plenty of time to ship it back if necessary as my 6 broken ribs were healing at the time.
  16. Where did you order them from? I haven't found better helmet prices than Ron Ayers (www.ronayers.com). You might want to check them out for future purchases. My eyes are really sensitive too. My right eye was injured when I was 5, and the pupil can't close down very far. I can't be outside during the day without sunglasses. It's funny though, I have better luck with wire frame glasses. Never wear used helmets that came with the bike. It's much better to protect your head with a nice, new helmet that you know is in good shape. There are strips of opaque plastic that stick to the face shield via static to block the sun. If you are cheap, you can put a strip of black electrical tape instead.
  17. Voltron and a lot of others were able to burn the candle at all ends at CanJam. Me, I was able to stay up til midnight (after traveling from the west coast) on Thursday and then 2:30 on Friday. On Saturday, I went to bed at 8 and got up at 9 the next morning. So I found my limits pretty quickly.

Come on. I'm sure that you have thought of several possibilities. Like this direction, for example.
  19. Shit, I wish that I were as young as you. Then maybe I could stay up till 5am for 3 days in a row.

Maybe it was a really tall snake.
  21. Have a nice time. Don't forget to see if Chumley has a better view of the world by now.
  22. That's great! Congratulations. I visited my Dad last Thursday. It was his 89th birthday. He's doing fairly well and is pretty aware, though his concentration is gone. Other than that he's totally in touch with reality. So we are pretty lucky.
  23. Besides friends don't let friends buy from Walmart! Please don't do it.
