My wife just bought $400 worth of food from personalgourmet.net. Has anybody ever heard of them? They were doing door to door sales in our neighborhood. At least they seem to be real and we have the food. It was probably overpriced but ... Now our freezer is full.

Yeah, I can't imagine someone using them in a commercial application. And I wish Frank the very best of luck if he brings his amp to market.
I would also assume that any commercial version would have non-mercury tube rectification, not that I know anything though.
-
Thank you. You pretty much sold me on them (with MaloS and Volron I have been talking to).
I'll report when I get them.
After listening to them at MOA, I think that you'll be happy with them.
-
Mercury vapour rectifiers. Let's just say dropping one would not be a good thing.
Yep, they're not exactly Eco-friendly.
-
wow, that's ridiculous.
It looks great, not the typical DIY job. More importantly, it sounds better than it looks!

There are pictures all over the MOA impressions thread on HF. Here are some from the thread to whet your appetite:

I would think that the hard place to shave for women isn't their legs, it's under their arms. The arm pits have all the same problems as the face and is even more sensitive. One of the many biological reasons that I'm glad I'm male.
-
I can't help but compare this to Frank Cooter's amp, which may someday be available. The cost would be about the same. It would be very hard to beat Frank's amp's sound and aesthetically, there's no comparison. Frank's amp walks all over it. Even so, I look forward to listening (and maybe even seeing ) this amp at CJ.

ACBL March 2008 "Bridge Bulletin"
Now I'll have a couple of hours of interesting reading and thinking.

Nate just keeps digging the hole he is in deeper. I suspect that he will find it hard to buy and sell things in the future. I'm also a little surprised that he wasn't given a week off to contemplate things.
-
I stop shaving because shaving is annoying. 2 weeks later, I start back because facial hair is annoying
Yeah, facial hair. Can't live with it and you can't kill them all.
-
As you get older you'll find it sinks down from your scalp and comes out your ears and nose instead.
I'm somewhat lucky, it's coming out my ears and nose too rather than instead.

Razor burn in the morning sucks so much
Try L'Occitane Cade after shave balm. It works great for me. Probably any after shave balm would do the trick.
-
eeew. glad i don't have that problem yet.
Fixed it.

HAHA damn it guys turn off referrers!
Don't! This way we can attract the smarter HF'ers without using HF resources.

I'll see what I can do for you ;-)
God, I was checking my site-stats and found this place, especially this thread...yeah...
Lots of famililar peeps here! The upcoming meet will be crowded with Ultrasones. Looking forward to hearing that 780 with all the comments going on on head-fi.
Hi Indra, welcome to Head-Case. Love your work.

If that ain't the stereotypical guy response, I don't know what is.
If you like young, cute, skinny, and smart.
It's a good thing that nobody wants that. I'd rather have another amp!

WD40 is great for cleaning guns. But it's basically diesel. You definitely have to clean the residue when you're done.
It does, but then you have to clean off the WD-40 residue with alcohol whereas lighter fluid evaporates away quickly and cleanly.
Yep, you have to clean the residue. But that is easy. Almost everybody has WD-40. Most people don't have lighter fluid these days. If you have it or don't mind the trip to buy it, by all means use it.
-
yep, lighter fluid is the safe glue residue removing master.
WD-40 does a pretty good job too.

Been a fan awhile now. My dad's had season seats for 20+ years, from the Fabulous Forum to Staples (been selling his tx this season for him since he lives in Rome now). It's a bit hard to get back on the Kobe bus, but i think i am beginning to forget. Now he has someone to support him with Gasol. But will Gasol be able to muscle up with the beefier centers?
I'm thinking about going to the New Orleans game in April to see Gasol live. I was not interested in going to any games this year until he came.
Currently, the only beefy center in the west is Shaq, and he's a shadow of his former self. It doesn't matter though, soon Bynum will be back and Gasol will only have to match up with beefy power forwards.

His email address is here in his profile. Maybe "he" should sign up for all sorts of free things on the web.

I bought 4 tubes from Vince. They arrived on time and he even threw in a 5th tube. Communication was excellent. I'd cheerfully buy from or sell to Vince in the future. A-1 seller.
-
This certainly reflects my beliefs about expensive cables and most tweaks. I trust my ears, it's my brain that I'm not too sure of.

More tubes. Thanks to Earl for these.
