Yes, interested in learning your experience here

jokerman777, could you remind me/us which PCB version/origin you use?

Great adventure!
I wish I had the time, skills, parts... well, the whole thing 😅
-
Pretty nice Dremel skills, by the way 😂

Sweet piece, for sure...

Made the same mistake long ago, in this precise place.
I had to add a small toroid because I ordered the wrong secondaries in my custom toroid.
It's 30 VCT,or 2*15 V
Just replace those 2 caps along with the V regs, and you're back on track

Quad was less successful in the 405 power amp, where a 3.3k resistor feeding a 15V zener in underrated. In due course it fails open, putting one output to rail. The ridiculous crowbar then fires and short circuits the output. The power transistors and drivers then instantly fry. Then the crowbar itself blows up. Then the fuses blow.
Wow, what a cascade of horrors!

Thanks for maintaining the house afloat!

Beautiful!
Listen to it, and post some more pics

Mine are here too, thanks!

It's just insane to see how many iterations of alternative batteries you and Kerry produced!

Sent, thanks!

Thank you for your time Michael.
This GB is hot!

They've just evolved shapes mimicking Richard Mille's, which OTOH is another shitty hyperexpensive tasteless manufacturer focused on tasteless new rich customers. To their recognition (Hublot's) goes being one of the first labels to make horrible stuff for the ignorant wealthy. To each one their own, I guess
Pretty damn right.
And listen to Philippe Dufour's opinion on how dull and disconnected to the legacy are the actual manufacturers.

Olafur is very good indeed.
If you don't know, you can try his German friend, Nils Frahm (for example album Felt).
To be listened to relatively loud.

Its force is its footprint with Kerry's mini power supplies.
For sure no way to shrink the transformers, but still.
Will definitely build one one day.
-
Briliant! Damn excited by the perspective of those miniature HV supplies.
You are never short of wonders Kerry, are you?
One day I'll have to study those relay attenuators. The coding (which you provided) and Arduino thing have always seemed too complicated for me ?

Your SiC definitely need proper heatsinks.
