Reliable Business Class Laptop Help
strid3r replied to roadtonowhere08's topic in GoRedwings19's Computer Help Hotline
+1, Used to work in IT and the T series were built like tanks. -
Class # is in reference to the speed of the card. Class 4 = 4MB/s while class 10 = 10MB/s

I would run a full scan of antivirus (ie. Microsoft Security Essentials, Avira, Avast) and antimalware (Malwarebytes, Superantispyware) software on the computers she logs into her Yahoo account from. Also, she may want to just double-check her Yahoo account settings for when you "Forget a password". It usually tells you it will send a password to your cell or another email, so just make sure there's nothing amiss there.

Dusty, you can also try oat bran as a thickener the next time you have that problem. I've done that for stews before and have had good luck with it.

Check out Amnesia. Even better, turn the lights off while you are playing.

I can confirm the above...I recently had lunch with a friend who now works as a Genius at an Apple Store. He said exactly the same thing (customers get a one-time "get out of jail free card"). I wonder if that is the official lingo used at the stores.

wireless security at home
strid3r replied to crappyjones123's topic in GoRedwings19's Computer Help Hotline
I doubt the wireless network was breached. More likely is the presence of some sort of malware on the machines. Have you already run scans with SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes? Also, full scans using antivirus (possibly two different AV programs)? Suggestions in general (and probably stuff you may already know): keep your antivirus, OS, and browsers all updated, run anti-malware software somewhat regularly, and don't visit sketchy sites. If you really want to lock down the browser, you can run NoScript in Firefox, but I would not recommend this to a novice user. Also, Symantec is not the best AV out there. Some free alternatives are Microsoft Security Essentials, Avira, and Avast. If you have not already done so, change the passwords for other email accounts. -
Thanks, guys! Just waiting for the 9-5 to end.

Plants vs Zombies is also only a dollar in the App Store.

Happy burfday to you both!

From my understanding, both kittens and adults are "lactards" and may get the runs from cow's milk.
-
I would be hesitant to put the milk out, because most cats are lactose intolerant. A bowl of water should do the trick. I'm sure they greatly appreciate the tuna though.

Got to listen to this briefly at CanJam and liked what I heard with the HF-2's. Looking forward to the release of this.

Have an awesome birthday!

I was at the last NY meet too and totally agree with you. I did get a chance to listen to them from the Woo amp (forgot which model), but I definitely preferred that setup over the Headroom/Beyer amp. It seemed to give them a bit of oomph and body that was missing in the Headroom amp.

I'm not sure if this would be okay or not, but I would be interested in sponsoring some DIY skills. Would any DIYers be interested in building one for me? I will of course pay for all parts and labor.

Some suggestions: - North End for Italian. If you like seafood, Neptune Oyster is a great spot to check out. - Chinatown for Chinese/Vietnamese. Hei La Moon is my personal favorite. - Fanueil Hall if you're into the more tourist-y stuff. The aquarium is a 5 minute walk from here and there's a bunch of shops/restaurants, but I would encourage you to go a little further to the North End for food. - Copley Square area for a little more upscale experience.
