  1. I grew up eating all that stuff mypasswordis listed. I do enjoy the occasional offal (girlfriend can't stand it!) and used to love fish eyes as a kid...my parents would take the rest of the head. I'm always up for trying new foods, but don't know if I could do the worms up there. Maybe if they were deep fried. Most recent bizarre food I've had is buffalo, which is actually quite tasty. It's like a very lean beef.

    Beyer T1

If it was me, it'd be because I already have an amp for it. The Omega 2 would really be $3-400 plus the cost of an amp to drive it.

    Beyer T1

If the T1 ended up being a high-end version of the DT531, that would be awesome. I totally agree with you on the "electric" treble and cannot stand it. I'm not a big fan of any of the modern Beyers, but I'm hoping the T1 may change that.
  4. That looks awesome! The Advent Children art is a nice touch too.
  5. True Life is glossy and makes the screen seem more vibrant. Personally I like it on my laptops as it does seem to have more contrast than your usual screen, but it can be annoying if you work in direct light.
  6. Multiple cores do help, but can get bottlenecked by other system components past 2 cores. Here's an old link, but you get the idea: Photoshop and Multicore Processors: - Canon Digital Photography Forums

  8. One of our cats totally does that too when given a bath. Since your guy is young, you can probably manage a bath without too much issue. If you want to give it a try here are some tips: -Get the bathtub area ready before getting him. That means get a bucket of warm water, a smaller cup/bowl to pour the water with, and the shampoo and towel laid out. -Place one hand under his torso while you use the other to rub shampoo/clean/pour water on him. Be careful not to douse water on his face, although you can wipe his face if needed. Speak to him in a calm voice while washing him so that he knows its okay. -Long-sleeve shirt may be a good idea since it's your first time.
  9. I would also add Rick's to that list. Guzzi, are you still in Philly? If you're a foodie, you will want to check out Reading Terminal Market. It is also right next to Chinatown if you are into Asian food at all. If you're into shopping, you can check out the Rittenhouse Square area (west of Broad Street). Old City is also a great area to explore towards the eastern edge of the city. There are also several museums towards the Art Museum area.
  10. The screen looks a bit like what old and dying LCD monitors look like. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

  12. Oh man, I used to listen to Drunken Tiger back in high school. I hear they are still pretty popular in Korea.
  13. Just downloaded the RTM last night, but won't have a chance to play around with it this weekend. The RC is still going strong on my laptop. Did anyone notice any major differences in the RC and the RTM?
  14. That is such an awesome coat. Here are our 2 cats: Chillin: Nap time:
  15. I remembered I had an old set of earpads from a set of Sennheiser PC-150s (http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/5b/80/75dc224128a05c1a9b4f7010.L.jpg). I threw them on the HF2s and they are much more comfortable than the bowls. However, the sound is quite different and probably closer to what you guys are experiencing with flats as these are much more shallow than the bowls. The two main differences seem to be increased bass and slight decrease in spaciousness. I think for now I'll stick with these earpads, but I'd be interested to know what you guys think of the 414 pads.
  16. It's impossible to create a 100% secure OS. The best you can do is design it with security in mind and hope it covers most of the bases and to hope that new holes are discovered quickly and patched effectively. As far as I'm concerned, this new OS is just another Linux distro.

  18. I was just looking for the same thing a couple weeks ago and the SwitchEasy Rebel seems to be one of the higher rated ones: Welcome to SwitchEasy The Incase Slider also seems to be pretty nice: Incase Slider Case for iPhone 3G I ended up getting a BestSkinsEver to cover the back for now. I will probably end up getting a Rebel at some point.
  19. That was pretty much my take on it...the typo I could live with and it'd probably grow on me, but the marks are too much. I already emailed Todd, so we'll see what happens.
  20. I find that exercise and diet is more of a lifestyle for me and I would not want to pick one over the other. I work out regularly because it gives me better energy levels and also enjoy my pig out moments (had some awesome barbecue buffet last night). Like you've said, balance is the key.
  21. I had no idea about this one. Thanks for the heads up!
  22. Yep, doing a fresh install is always the better route to go. I don't know if I would call it Vista SP3, because there are enough changes and (minor) differences that make it feel like its own OS. I have used Vista on and off, but I'll definitely be moving over to 7 when it comes out as it feels pretty solid and compatibility does not seem to be an issue (hardware and software).
