Eye In The Sky
by The Alan Parsons Project (1982)https://album.link/i/1205670750
Example:
I was going to post Mammagamma or Old and Wise. But the title track is just so good. Like most of Alan's albums, they are just so good to listen to.
And for something different.
Spaces
by Yosi Horikawa (2019)https://album.link/i/1463826014
Example:
If you like a lot of looping of natural sounds. Tosi is the ticket. I am not sure how it got into my queue, but it really gave me an Art of Noise vibe - and that is a very good thing.

Tell Mama
by Etta James (1968)https://album.link/i/1371791759
Example:
Just a few tracks that were not great for me. But the rest of the album kicks ass (like the example).
Was over so fast that I had to pull this.
At Last!
by Etta James (1961)https://album.link/i/1440838775
Example:
Everyone knows the title track... Much more the classical and strings versions, but man does it highlight her singing.

Altered State
by TesseracT (2013)https://album.link/us/i/1045640477
Example:
Second full Studio Album - I really didn't expect the change in the vocalist. I really liked this album - Pretty much a single continuous 50+ minute track. I know that Ashe O'Hara does not last beyond this album, but works well for me.

Happy Birthday Defender!!.. --- Wishing you a day full of syrup and beer.. (maybe not together - but still).
Cheers
(too soon?}
Wishing you much healing to da hearing...

Catching up on some early work before some deep dive into current works.

Perspective
by TesseracT (2012)https://album.link/i/1060441842
Just one Example:
Very nice work - a little samey. But great playing and overall sound. With 5 studio albums, I will probably get around to them all.

Aliens Ate My Buick
by Thomas Dolby (1988)https://album.link/i/1437333011
Example:
Say what you want about 80's music, but it gave us this album and this 8.5 min chunk of jazz. Actually - "The Key to Her Ferrari" is a better jazz song, but I just like Budapest better.

I am sure Grahame had to learn all these during his naturalization process. But a lot were new to me.
Look at me, learnin' things...

Featherweight
by Rosie Frater-Taylor (2024)https://album.link/i/1704196390
Example:
Some fresh music from last month from a new Artist for me. I really like the heavily influenced Jazz playing and the overall writing. And I forgive the 'no scrubs' cover.

I don't have Grahame's 'this is head-case' meme... But this is HC!
I don't think that you would regret getting the S with it's additional features. It really does seem to be setup for getting the best of a pour over.
I cannot advise too much. I use this for my espresso...

A Charlie Brown Christmas (Remastered & Expanded Edition)
by Vince Guaraldi (1965)https://album.link/i/1440948781
So I have pretty much figured out that I don't equate Christmas music to Christmas - but to winter weather. And listening to Vince makes me happy...

Choir of the Mind
by Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton (2017)https://album.link/i/1254594996
Example:
Just so good to listen to. I have not done a deep dive into what is said, but initial impressions are rewarding.

Kind of the reason we need artists - they think differently...

All The Young Dudes
by Mott The Hoople (1972)https://album.link/i/155712973
Example:
Mott and the Young Dudes.. I really enjoyed this album.. I liked the 70s groove rock that they were putting out there. Yet this was another band like Thin Lizzy that I knew by name, not by songs. I have many songs attached to them now, and I am happy about that.

Adrenaline Rush
by Twista (1997)Example:
Sometimes you just need some fast 90s rap.. Twista delivers.

^^ Thanks... Although it got me thinking of a music survey. 🤓
My standards for this piece have been:
- Berliner Philharmoniker / Herbert von Karajan
- Boston Symphony / Munch
- The London Symphony Orchestra / Josef Krips
- Chicago Symphony / Sir Georg Solti
- Orchestra Of St. Luke's / Michael Tilson Thomas
Pretty much the same list for the 7th Symphony as well (probably my fav just ahead of the 3rd). But that could change.
I have not listened to the Szell.. yet. I think that the internet catalog is too big for me to do a complete survey of the Eroica, But maybe a review of top recordings in context to the Szell. I will ponder.
meanwhile:

Makes it look the size of a quarter -- but still looks yummy (bite size)
And now what did you do TODAY?

So after many weeks of diagnostics and several trips to several part stores, my truck is finally producing an acceptable amount of voltage. It settled out after this photo and running the truck for about 35 minutes to about 14.2 volts. I am happy with that.
It started with me hooking up the fifth wheel, about to make a short trip and noticed that I was no longer producing electricity. I proceeded to check things out and then replaced the alternator. This of course did not fix the issue. As it turns out, all the voltage regulation is run through the computer. I tried to buy a new one of those which would have cost me $500 but nobody had them or would sell me one.
So I finally decided to go completely DYI and externalize the voltage regulator to its own device. I got that all hooked up and I was getting too many pixies with it, around 15.7 volts. I didn't want to just boil my batteries to nothing. So after running a separate power lead and doing some additional rewiring, none of which I am very proud of and will not take a photo of, I got it all back together and working "properly”. I can at least move on to other projects now.
