I just had the most awful thought:  the first millenials are now old enough to get married and have children.  M:TNG are being born NOW.

    (Sunday)

Joanne's Australian nephew, who is currently based in New York, was flying into SFO to work with a client in San Jose as part of an ongoing project, and asked if it was possible we could meet up.

So we decided to make a day/ afternoon of it and see what was worth seeing on the peninsula before meeting him.

Who knew there was a 98 room beaux arts mansion/chateau in Hillsborough?

And then on to meet up with Joanne's nephew http://buckswoodside.com/

They have a virtual tour of all their paraphanalia!

Turns out Joanne's nephew's client is small $2T company some of you may have heard of.

    Their offices look nice.

The  project is due to last a couple of years, so we may be seeing more of Joanne's nephew in the future!

Nvidia!  Too frickin' hip.  (Also, I jelly.  Tell them they're screwing up CUDA Quantum...by not having hired me.)

Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future

Nice find!  This is the original telefilm that was Max's debut to the world.  The show that followed stretched this plot out a bit, without diluting quality.  For a long time, my favourite show EVAR evar evar evar

Now, it's still one of my favourite shows ever.  But there's so many of them.

I have done a lot of listening in the last week, but here is what I am listening to - now

    Band On The Run

    Band On The Run
    by Paul McCartney (1973 (2024))

    https://album.link/i/1717135189

    Example:

Underdubbed? - Yep. This is pretty much the original version and mix of the album - without the overdubbing and orchestration and extras added. -- Much more of a rock album.  I really have to try to listen to it with new ears. Forget what I know and hear what is there, not what isn't. The example is such a Jam.. I know this album so well, I am not sure I would have liked this album better than the original on release (first listen of both), but I know I sure like it now.

That was always my other favourite track on the album.  I was so smitten with that (as a B-side), I learned that riff on the piano when I was still collecting singles and not albums.

Me:  I can listen to music again!

Currently:  Young Gods, TV Sky  not sure why this is the first album I chose, but it's as great as I remember

    On deck:  Kyros, Mannequin

    Cool.  Thanks for sharing.

Me: just finished Obliterated last night.  Fun little popcorn muncher.  Dirty.  Raunchy.  Full dick (with whipped cream and crying).
