Namaan, I blame Dan as well but quad kegs? You have definitely stepped it up a level.
I just plan on using three at a time. The fourth will be for the next thing in the wings and the extra outlet will be for transferring the brew to different containers with positive CO2 pressure.

word of warning: don't leave stout unattended while boiling on the stove...
on an unrelated note, coffee wort makes a giant mess on the inside of an oven door glass (between the 2 panes)
I bet.
Walmart has some nice stainless 22qt pots on sale that might help with that.

FOTM!
I blame Dan

I did I bit of reading and it seems that it needs to be kept cold or it runs the chance of going nuclear.

How much for the Penguin? I could be in for a bottle.

I cheated and opened my box, thanks naaman
Which one? Curious how part of it turned out.
And let us me know what you think when you try the other.

Hello and welcome.
On a side note I hope this place isn't going the way of my local Home Depot.
-
Part deux on the way.

I got a box from a weird nyc address that apparently contains liquid
Back home now and I have one from New Hamster the seems to contain the same.

Still waiting for dispatch. The Leave It To Beavers people said they will bring "it" over when they can
-
If nobody does and you can wait a bit I *should* have some at home.
-
Well it looks like I should be able to make it. And if things go as planned CJ 2011 as well!

I like my 701s. They can seem a bit sterile at times but sometimes it works with the right material/mood. I kind of liken them to a pair of studio monitors. Nothing super exciting on initial listen but there is a lot that they reveal.

I read on Head-Fi that Edition 8s sound just like Focal Grand Utopias.
I really hope that's a joke.

Moar beers.

Oh let us know how that is. Irresponsible beer and all.

My suggestion would be to get a local dimming LED LCD TV. The Samsung 8500 series are pretty sweet and would be my choice but are in the top range of the price category.
Samsung, Pioneer, and Pansonic also have some nice Plasmas with great picture quality but they won't look as good during the day with lots of light and they get hotter and use a lot more power.

Five Guys.

There is a good chance I might be able to make it. Originally I was supposed to be in the sand box but things are changing everyday. Have my fingers crossed.

I can get you one, Nate. Found a place that has all of the 2009 Antique Collection bottlings for $66 each. I was thinking of picking up the Stagg plus either the Weller or Eagle Rare. Opinions?
Weller. I think it's comparable to the Stagg. I have the Eagle Rare and IMHO don't think it's all that great. The Thomas Handy is pretty good if you want a barrel strength rye.

I'm jealous Naaman, I stopped by my local store Friday only to be told that the Stagg they had on hand was a special order and already spoken for.
Almost the same deal here. The four bottles they said they had were on hold for someone else but they did have a fifth that was not spoken for.
I put myself on the list to reserve some for next year so I don't have to jump through hoops to get it.
If you can find a bottle of the Weller from the same collection grab it.
On a side note their prices seem really good. The Sazerac was $40 and the PVW 20 $77.

Also add the Oliva "V"
Alec Bradley Tempest
Camacho Triple Maduro
Padron 1964, 1926 (a bit on the pricey side)
probably could come up with a couple more if I think about it for a minute.
Something from ISOM could also be good but it's a bit late for shipping.
