  1. ......and Stax are using ECC99s for this one instead of 6CG7/6FQ7s.
  2. I think what you are seeing is the keyboard part of a Phillips LHH-2000 CD player. Incredibly rare machine http://www.marantzphilips.nl/index.asp?strPage=Info&strBrand=Philips&strType=lhh2000
  3. The later SRA-3S was a very nice amplifier also - unequivocally better than the SRA-12S I had at the time. Both of these look a bit less.....errr......industrial than the SRA-7S. Spritzer had an SRA-3S for sale a while back - I hope the new owner is enjoying it now.
  4. I've got 2 of these round cables (one from Spritzer) - take care when plugging normal bias phones in that you don't accidentally use the pro socket on an amp. I did that once with the normal bias Sigmas - lots of squealing resulted, but no audible damage as far as I could tell.
  5. Also have a good look for any hairs poking through the inner or outer meshes.
  6. The DA100M amplifiers were Class A and Freon cooled. I wonder what happens when you have to regas them with the newer Ozone safe refrigerant gas.
  7. Could be a USB option......the Mini-DAC has an optional USB board that can be retro fitted. Maybe that is coming for the Duet?
  8. Faust3D - love your avatar - I had the clear vinyl version of that album many long years ago and now only have the Wumme set. Groundbreaking band!
  9. The Sigma 404s are a nice phone aren't they? Much better than the original. I never heard a Sigma Pro however. None of these are in the same class as the Omega2 Mk1 however.
  10. a set of F83's sold in Australia recently - not sure of the final price.
  11. Interesting - when I first got my 717, the fuse promptly blew after first turn on. Replaced it and never had another problem.
