  1. You had it working before ? Maybe you got the beta and the plugin isn't working yet.

I have 1.1.10, which I do not believe is a beta, but I think the plugin doesn't work for this version anyways.

You can install the foo_audioscrobbler plugin.

I did, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I went and checked "enable scrobbler" in tools and entered my info.

  2. Sorry I'm a bit unclear, do you want suggestions for old bands? I can't remember any new ones as I usually just sampled stuff off Youtube and didn't find it interesting.

Old, new, it's all good. As long as there's interesting good shit to share.

Anyways, I've been listening to some Arsis lately. They seem ok, if not spectacular. Good and American but with no core elements, which is refreshing.

  3. I remember a couple years ago, some cats on HF were lamenting the lack of truly "high end" (read: high price) headphones on the market, a la HE90 and pricey Sony stuff.

I'm personally not seeing this upward trend. I mean, AKG and Sony don't have any extravagant phones currently, and the Audeze, Senns, Grados, and iems are still under $2k. The only thing taking the cake currently is the Stax. Also, the new Shure line is looking fairly affordable, while the Phillips are looking VERY affordable.

  4. Is there any new tech death that is good? The newish bands I heard sounded so derivative that I just stick to the stuff from the 80s and 90s

I have no idea and would love to hear suggestions myself. Afaik, the hottest techy metallic stuff these days is coming out of the States, but most of it doesn't sound anything like death.

  5. So umm does this thread accommodate heavy music in general? I usually don't listen to anything dark. I prefer feel-good music like tech death or the more brutal shades of American -core.

On that front, I have nothing new to report really. Been listening to a lot of mediocrity. Though admittedly, I haven't dug deep underground lately.
