johnwmclean
This is a good reason to get back into dynamics, awesome work Kerry. Alpha will only do a 1000 pc order last time I checked.
GeorgeP
How about some 4channel TKD pots?
Kerry
We'll have to look into options. I've sent the board out to manufacturing so we can prototype it

justin
maybe i just got a bad batch, but i had a lot of trouble with the Alpha pots and plan to stop offering it in the GS-X mk2. A large percentage of them have a noticeable lump at a particular point when turning it. Sometimes you have to have a large knob attached first and then turn it slowly to find the spot. but around half of them ended up in the trash
spritzer
It must have been a bad batch as these work perfectly. Some of my first ones had the center bump but I returned all of them.

RudeWolf
SMD, SMPS... Blasphemy! I'm actually super proud to see HC finally embracing the newer tech. How do these SMPS'es look under the scope? Does extra after-regulation help? Edited July 11, 2016 by RudeWolf

I started thinking about it. A couple of daughter boards might do the trick. It would be nice to have a modular solution.

Kerry
Thanks. The design was done in DipTrace v3. I've been using it for a while and like it.

Mister X
Unless that software is ExpressPCB.
