morphsci
Congratulations to Bayern Munchen for winning the Champion's League Final (and beating Borussia Dortmund). Edited May 25, 2013 by morphsci
BlueDoor
Well deserved, they were the best team throughout the entire competition. The victory's against Barcelona in the semi-finals says it all. The image of Robben at the end of the match was amazing!
Hopstretch
They had some lucky breaks -- Ribery and Dante could both very well have been sent off -- but you need some on big nights like that. Last year they got hosed, so I was happy to see them get it right this time. Neuer was immense in the first half and it was great for Robben to wrap it up. agile_one
What are you guys talking about? Was this tennis? badminton? cricket? Too busy watching hockey and baseball to keep up with all these furrin' sports.

The referee called the game very loose and so both teams pushed it as the game progressed. At least no one on Bayern was caught on tape putting their spikes into someone's Achilles tenon ad they were walking away. Lewondowski is now dead to me as is any team he plays for. I only really care about two sports and they're both called football.

Hopstretch
Lewondowski is now dead to me as is any team he plays for. He's most likely going to Bayern next season, so won't that cause some problems for you?
morphsci
Yes, but I'm a complex person. Sometimes even I don't understand myself.
mikeymad
Dang I knew I should have stayed to only the threads I followed until I watched the match... Cheers to Bayern
morphsci
It was very high level play on both sides so it is worth watching even knowing the outcome. Both goalies made some phenomenal saves and Neuer made a very good case as currently the best goalie in the world.
morphsci
I have been lax in failing to further congratulate Bayern on being the first team to win the treble: Bundesliga Champion, Champion League Champion and German Cup Champion. WooHoo!
