Voltron
RIP Congressman John Lewis. This is not a good time to lose the conscience of the Congress. Fuck cancer and fuck 2020! “Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” John Lewis 2018 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/07/17/us/john-lewis-dead.amp.html

Voltron
RIP Rev. CT Vivian, another civil rights leader, Freedom Riser, MLK "field general", and Obama Medal of Freedom recipient. I saw his obit on the Newshour last night before heading about John Lewis, who is more widely known and beloved today. I thought this morning that his death was going to be overshadowed by Lewis', and realized I had done that myself by posting only the latter last night. Rest in Power, Rev. and Rep. 2
