Though I don't post here much anymore (posting just seems like work anymore) you guys have a very special place in my heart. We knew the glory days of this hobby.

Well written title to this article; he really was a beloved announcer. He was such an easy going guy with a great announcing voice and so many interesting stories, but he never made anything about him. It was always about the game. RIP, Joe.
