HiWire
I used to play this on the piano. A proper keyboard stand can do miracles, just you wait and see...

swt61
IMO That's a much better version than the Stones. But if anything she looks smug, not all that merry.

HiWire
Dance Away – Roxy Music I didn't know there was a longer version. The shorter radio edit replaced the original version and this longer cut was hard to find... until now.

Voltron
@VPI is going to be thrilled that while he is in SF for the first time in a long time he can experience this jazz opera about boxing and shoes again! Dusty Chalk
Why, because she plays Nord bleepy bloopy boxes? 😜 Actually, yes I really like her choice of synthesizers. Someone elsewhere posted a Snarky Puppy video and said something to the effect of, “greatest keyboard solo”, and I was thinking that pretty much every one of her solos from that concert was better. She is crazy great. I will post said Snarky Puppy video.
skullguise
Agreed Dusty....I don't go out to see much Jazz, but we saw Hiromi on her "Move" tour, and it was fantastic! She has such talent and enthusiasm, and she seems to really love playing the music.
Dusty Chalk
Yeah, that combination of virtuosity and glee slays me. Jacob Collier is a favourite for the same reasons. Here is the Snarky Puppy video. And it is a great keyboard solo.
