Here is my grlv power supply built on dip 16 sockets for my dynalo amp, also built on dip 16 sockets and put in an Altoids tin.
It outputs +/- 16.7 volts using a couple of 16 vac 30 va transformers which puts 23 vdc into the grlv module.
Also built a +/- 30 volt supply with a couple of 25.2 vac 50.4 va transformers and it puts 37 vdc into the grlv module.
A second +/- 30 volt supply is pictured open. These are for my balanced dynahi, also built on dip 16 sockets.
The grlv dip 16 module has 5 sockets on each side. There are 18 wires connecting 71 pins, each pin has only one wire on it, 9 pins are not used on the ICs.
Parts layout and wirelist make it easy to reproduce.

The first has the first 12 wires and the second has all 18 wires. Attached is the layout and wire lists. That is 2" duct tape holding the sockets together for soldering. The wire is from solid 24 awg cat 5 wire.

I could not find any opa134pa op amps so I used tl081bcp, also tried lm318p which also works.

The 47 uF caps has the 9.1 zener voltage and 10 volt ref voltage so I used 16 volt caps

Used zener diode 9.1v 1/2w 78-BZX55B9V1 to fit into the sockets.

Hi Kerry, which connectors are you using here for the LV, HV and the output voltages? Look like 4mm pitch. Tried Mate-N-Lok but not really sure as they do not have the fixating hole on the short side like these. Thanks @Kerry

I don't have a layout or schematic for the golden reference HV SMD but if it is similar to the through hole. The only places resistors with 250K+ resistance are used is in 

1. bleed resistors for the high voltage smoothing caps - and so subject to high dc voltage. My best guess would be they are using a single resistor for the bleed unlike the through hole which uses two 250K 1/2W. So a single 1W 500V 510K would be about right here

2. output sense resistors - and so subject to high dc voltage 

3. in the 580V bias circuit and so again subject to high dc voltage 

But this is only a guess based on looking at the through hole schematic... I have never built a golden reference hv SMD version.

R30 and R31 are in series and look to be the bleed resistors for the high voltage input smoothing cap so the voltage is shared between R30 and R31 but the input cap has the highest voltage across it. 200V working voltage is probably not enough here since the input is probably rectified to more than 400VDC

R28 is the single bleed resistor for the output cap and so has the entire output dc voltage across it. So unless your psu is only outputting 200V or less, then a 200V working voltage resistor will definitely not be enough by a large margin. 

Since its a bleed resistor the exact value is not critical, a higher value would simply mean the high voltage would bleed to 0V at a bit slower speed and a bit lower value would very slightly increase power consumption when the power supply is on...

CRCW2512475KFKEG which is same series as the original and so is 500V 1W and 475K should be fine in this application and is in stock at mouser....

lets say the resistor has the full 500V across it - which is worst possible case,

V/R = I

so the current through the bleed resistor would be 500/475000 = 0.00105A

power dissipation in the bleed resistor would be W = I * V = 0.00105 * 500 = 0.53W and so well within the 1W capacity of the resistor...

if the resistor has less than the full 500V across it the power dissipation will be less...

R28 and R29 are the bleed resistors for the DC output (typically 400V or 450V).  R30/31 & R32/33 are for the DC input and are in series since the voltages they see will likely be above 500V. 

In general, the capacitor bleed resistors are set to around .4W to .45W or thereabout - independent of whether they are in series or not. 

They can be a bit more or less.  I usually like less.  Any values that get you close are fine.  Just make sure they are still 500V each and at least 1W.  

This chip storage is mentally fatiguing... or... a great way to hone your skills.  Pick one :wacko:

Got them and soldered. Those are just phenomenal connectors, solidly held in place by a knob to the board so no moving at all, very solid, HV with enough space between pins, completely isolated pins (doubled by the inserted plugs), keyed, no screws to fiddle with, etc. Just rock solid and my favourite so far.

In general, we prefer to avoid spoon feeding newer members and encourage them to do their own research. At some point, Kevin added a 3rd bridge and the capability to use a single bridge with a CT transformer (like amb's sigma22). Obviously you don't use all 3 bridges at once.

If you look at the popular post feature on the right side, above, you'll see some of the key posts in this thread. I'm not sure, but jamesmking may have done a version history of the GRLV at some point. I know he did for the GRHV. His July 27, 2021 post shown in the Popular Posts might be a good one to look at. Using the search bar and searching "largecap" will find some info, including a recommendation for what board version to use...
