ironbut
A great looking music/recording series is due in November on PBS. http://www.rollingstone.com/tv/news/watch-trailer-for-george-martins-all-star-pbs-series-soundbreaking-20160314

ironbut
First episode didn't disappoint! I'm with Mr Tice!
swt61
Second episode equally as good. This is a great series!
ironbut
Episode 3 and it keeps getting better and better! As Sir George Martin's swan song, it seems like Martin is saying, "This is what you need to know to understand why I love music making". ironbut
I'm really enjoying the comments from Don Was. I didn't know much about him except for his work with the Stones and I was a little concerned when he was made the head of Blue Note records. I like him now. swt61
He's a great producer Steve. Also was in the group 'Was Not Was'. Quite fond of him and Rick Rubin. Don produced my favorite album of all time... I love the sound on that record! Edited November 18, 2016 by swt61

ironbut
I posted that because I dig it! IMHO the world could use a healthy dose of "Walk the Dinosaur" about now!
TMoney
I'm up to episode 5 now. Wonderful show. I really enjoy hearing experts talk about their craft. The best thing I can say about Soundbreaking is that you want each episode and segment to keep going. It is sad when they end.
