Clark Terry w/ Thelonious Monk - In Orbit

Ron Carter w/ Eric Dolphy & Mal Waldron - Where?

Dizzie Gillespie - Trumpet Summit Meets The Oscar Peterson Big Four

I should have my new transport up and running by delivery time, so I dont have to rip to computer before listening :prettyprincess:

I got the Boarders 40% offer in my email, and was about to go apeshit, but there was a limit of 3 selections, iirc. With gas the price it is, Im not going all the way to Boarders for anything less than 20 CDs. Good sale for normal people though :P
That's why I like White Flint. You buy three at the upper counter, go put them in the car, then go back and buy three more at the lower counter.

Besides, you can meet girls at Borders. Admittedly, I haven't yet, but I haven't given up completely.

I'm so tempted to just drop like $100 on musics...

Did you use a primer coat? In almost every case, though I haven't had to paint over orange yet, a good primer coat ensures that you only need one or perhaps in extreme cases two coats to cover fully. If the floor refinishing guy has to sand down to the wood be prepared for sawdust every where and I mean every where. Each time we finished our floors we spent the next month cleaning up the dust in every room of the house. Joys of home ownership.

Yep, we washed the walls first and used tinted primer as well. This is actually the only room that has required more than two coats, too.

This is why we're getting the floors refinished before we move into the house - much easier to clean and doesn't have to worry about any furnitures.

Also, if your floor guy gives you the option and of course if you can afford it, I would recommend you consider at least four final coats of polyurethane. You might want to double check with Steve and get his opinion but my experience has been that some people try to save money here by only paying for two coats and then in a couple of years live to regret their decision.

Oh, and belated congratulations.

lol..

I bought a Blackberry Curve for my wife today... she's so busy and doesn't have time to check e-mail and uses me as her "on-star" service when trying to find things and look various things up on the Internet when she's out and about. we'll see if she likes it.. probably equivalent of getting your wife a bowling ball, but we'll see.

Thanks for the update. I'll keep that in mind when we meet with the floor guys for estimates.

Yep, agreed. You may as well do it right while they're there.

We just found out which puppy we are getting and these are her breeder mug shots. She is a Portuguese Water Dog known as Big Pi by the breeders because of her chest marking. We pick her up on Saturday. My kids are going to explode when they finally see which one we are getting. That will be fun. I'll post some real pics when we have her home.

Very nice. I think I'm going to get me some of those this summer as my travel companions/closed buddies (not flight phones, that's what my IEM is for).

Kewl. I like IEMs as well for traveling on the plane. They really do isolate sound well.
