Naw, cotton comes in rolls from egypt. They have factories there or something. Pick it, as in select it :)

Ah! That's what I thought. Cause when I see cotton it's always in rolls or balls, thus I thought it's just like polyester or nylon where they make it in a factory somewhere. Good to see I'm not mistaken in my beliefs. :)

I reterminated my 340s last night to try and fix some of the butchery that was done by the previous modder who saw fit to terminate them with an 1/8" plug. Turns our they are wired with stranded silver, yikes that couldn't have been a cheap cable even though it looks like poop.

Reuse the wire bitch! :D

Not sure if I can, it's a pretty short cable (6') and hellaciously microphonic. I'd like to dope slap whoever built it.

For now it stays on the cans since I don't have time to deal with it properly. If it comes off I'll make 20 $200 mini-minis from it and retire rnB style! 8)

Thanks for the impressions. Anybody know where to buy some velour pads?

They are AKG part # 2955Z2601 and can be bought for around $13 each (don't remember exactly).

I left a couple phone messages and got not response. I finally faxed a request, and he called me right back. I had the pads about two weeks later. I don't know if anyone has an email address. I never did.
