DigiPete
My Denon Integrated is getting very unreliable due to bad connections in the source selecting mechanisms (noisy and one channel cutting out intermittently). I was looking at an Onkyo A-9555 digital amp. Dont want to spend more than about $350 for a really good sounding integrated for use in the den (secondary system) playing cds through bookshelf speakers. Any thoughts or sugestions? Also need a CD player for this rig, as the Denon CD player just died.

n_maher
If it were me I'd nuke the budget and get a B-Stock Outlaw RR-2150 for $499.
The Monkey
I recall Stereophile raving about the Onkyo, but can you find it for $350? I agree with Nate, if you up that budget to $500, you can get something like the Outlaw or a new NAD C-325BEE. I'm a big fan of the NAD (haven't heard the Outlaw). I'd be curious how the Onkyo sounds, though.

DigiPete
Nothing special. I have some Boston Acoustics CR65s in there
n_maher
There's a pretty damn cheap Outlaw 1050 on the 'gon right now that'd probably make a more than acceptable integrated if you ignore the other features that it has.

tom_hankins
I had the NAD C320BEE in an office system. it was a nice little over achiever. They go for around 200-250.
DigiPete
I wonder how the 1050 compares to the RR2150?
grawk
I wonder how the 1050 compares to the RR2150? It's blacker, has more buttons, and more channels, and less power per channel.
guzziguy
If you can come up with just a few more bucks, there's this! http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatube&1202448642
n_maher
guzzi, that price is in euro, which pushes it right over the edge.
tkam
Might also want to check out the Cambridge Audio 640A

postjack
Might also want to check out the Cambridge Audio 640A I love my 840a, but it is the only integrated amp or for that matter speaker amp I've ever owned.
