I've yet to hear a difference between panel components though and I've tried a few, mostly Cardas stuff and some Neutrik and Switchcraft stuff. I tend to go with things that are well-constructed over the marketing hype about better sound. I'm sure someone thinks that certain connectors sound better than others and they may be right.
