XLR Splitter

Dreadhead

Recommended Posts

Hi xuys and gals,

I'm thinking of getting some XLR splitters for my setup and this device looks good to me and avoids ground hum issues:

Amazon.com: ROLLS MS20c MICROPHONE SPLITTER/COMBINER: Musical Instruments

Am I breaking any rules if I use this for balanced audio instead of mic-level audio? Also are transformers essentially transparent to audio frequency signals?

Thanks in advance :)

What is it you're wanting to do here? Are you trying to split one XLR into two?

If so I have one of the Art Audio SplitComs laying around that I don't need anymore...

Parts Express:ART SplitCOM Mic Splitter/Combiner

It has a ground?/lift switch, and I've never had any ground hum issues with it.

I'd make you a nice deal.
