That's just additional room treatment. Sedans are more laid back, SUV's a little forward in the mids, and 4x4's bass heavy.

swt61
Hatchbacks, I don't know about hatchbacks. I like hatchbacks, Joe wanted to ban hatchbacks. For 8 years Joe tried to ban hatchbacks. I stopped that. The country loves hatchbacks, but Joe tried to ban them. Now we have the greatest hatchbacks ever, that's because I stepped in and stopped it. I designed new hatchbacks myself. Some people think that was Ford and Chevrolet, but it was me. I made the greatest hatchbacks the world has ever seen. Joe wanted to ban hatchbacks, but I stopped that. 6

Given the source was Tangential maybe but how much did that table set you back by level 2 FloatingOverThere 2 points·1 day ago mmmmmm about 1500 EUR. I bought it used. The brand is Dencon. https://dencon.eu/desks looks like it's the DELTA Seems suitably d-_-b
Pars
Yeah... don't think so. I'll see if I can find something similar for less (and more obtainable in this area). Thanks!
swt61
I don't know how handy you are, but if memory serves Ikea has similar legs for sale. Some 1/2" Baltic birch plywood, a sheet of Black laminate and you can create a very nice desk built to your specifications.
Dusty Chalk
Definitely Ikea. I want to say, Lack? I know they will make a desk exactly like that in their custom shop, but I'm turboskint, so opt for their prefab options. Edit: no, definitely not Lack, but I'm not sure they still make the one I have. Try here: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/cat/table-desk-systems-47423/ Edit #2: It was Fredrik:
luvdunhill
Has anyone listened to a system with the Acoustic Elegance dipole woofers? I was looking for a high Qts OB driver and ran across them.

They do have some others that look suitable, if I can just find them in stock at one of the 2 Chicago Ikea stores. Thanks though!

I was looking for a high Qts OB driver and ran across them. I use the ones that Siegfried Linkwitz specified for the LX521 - the SEAS L26RO4Y XM004-04. Although this is a 10" effective unit, two are used in a W-frame firing in opposite directions and wired antiphase. The idea is that non-linear distortions are effectively cancelled. Two of the SEAS units has an effective radiating area rather larger than the 12" AE one. One thing you have to watch with OB bass drives is wind noise (yeah, yeah!). So for large excursions, which you always have with the EQ needed for OB units, if the back of the driver is inadequately vented you hear a chuffing noise. That is entirely absent in the SEAS unit. That is not such a big issue with drivers used in boxes, but for OB it is a biggy. Worth asking AE about this specific point before putting your hand in your pocket. Why do you specifically want a high Qts by the way?
Craig Sawyers
There is quite a lot about OB EQ on SL's website here https://www.linkwitzlab.com/models.htm Regarding Qts, he makes the point that ~0.7 is desirable (hence your comment about high Qts I guess). But since you can EQ that as well, even with a low value.

Yeah, I would run them in a modified H-Frame which will behave like a Slot Load (so open back part of the H and the front part would be angled down into a wedge). The AE drivers are made for OB and have the desirable properties you mention plus sensitivity that can easily match a full range driver... even available in 16 ohm impedance. luvdunhill
Something like this “N-Frame” https://www.hifizine.com/2012/12/subwoofer-origami/
Craig Sawyers
I'd definitely go the M-frame route from that website. Sure you need two drivers per side, but you get the benefit of (at least to first order) distortion cancellation. These were mine during building maybe 5 years ago.

Craig Sawyers
They are crossed over at 120Hz, which has a wavelength of 2.9 metres. which completely ignores the structure (because it is so much smaller than the wavelength of the sound; the structure is acoustically small).
